so they say that it takes more muscles to frown than smile, right?

is that why cartoon characters who frown a lot - cruella d'vil, jafar, voldemort - have such thin faces?

because their faces are actually fitter than everyone elses?

in which case, would it not be better for you to frown?

I don't think the anatomy of facial muscles has anything to do with the anatomy cartoon characters?

Well, people who frown in the cartoons you mentioned, focusing on voldemort, probably have thin faces and are more fit because it takes a lot of energy to run around killing everyone in a city. It's like a marathon, but with more dead bodies.

Wait, what?

Cartoon villains have thin faces because they look more sinister.

I can't really see what the point of this thread is.

Wait.. Wait... WAIT!

You mean to tell me your basing your logic off of cartoons?.. I think this is one of the most ridiculous threads I have ever read, well, besides obvious flame bait and trolling. Were you being serious, or were you joking? I sure hope you were joking.

Edit: Nevermind I read the post above... Dude, don't make threads when your high, well, just don't get high period, but thats beside the point. If you make crazy threads and use "well, I just high dude, har har." it makes this entire forum look bad. Think before you do stuff, espically on this forum.

This is bashed on the assumption that having strong face muscles is a good thing, in reality, you're just wasting energy because looking sinister and being sinister are too very differen't things. That's assuming you'd frown in order to just look sinister, if you're doing it to have strong face muscles then that's just weird. How would you really benefit from having strong face muscles?

I've actually heard the expression told backwards from my parents.

And I don't know the answer to your question.

EDIT: My avatar supports your theory. But this thread is still ridiculous.

Well I think its funny (the thread), but I believe it is actually a myth. Takes more to smile.
