Potato chips have trans fats and you can only eat about 12 of them per serving. Sunflower seeds allow you 150 per serving.

Servings? Those are tiny, I don't know who measures them but they must be one of the smallest people on the planet. You should never go by servings.

The good news is the sentiment behind this thread is getting bandied about almost as much on
Facebook as the more ordinary political screaming matches. It just gets to a point where you have to recognize there's no point in arguing politics with someone who is on the opposite end of the spectrum from you. If a person has political beliefs of any sort[footnote]as opposed to all the undecided voters in this country, whom I'm pretty much convinced at this point are just too stupid or lazy to look up the party platforms and realize how freakin' different they are[/footnote] you're not gonna change them, so please save us all the stress and don't bother to try.

1) Philosophy
2) Tax Law
3) Canadian studies
4) International Ocean Law (different from coastal law)
5) Semiotics

this reminds me of the family guy episode where Lois and peter are running for the school board and Brian tells Lois that undecided voters are the dumbest people out there. Then she goes up and just starts shouting "Jesus" and terrorism and they start throwing money at her. Lmao

I wonder if I can get all the way to a Master's degree in Geography without being able to clearly define what geography is.

Being 30 is a lot more fun than being 20. Sure, your body is showing signs of use, but life is much better, and now you know what you needed to know at 20. And even the whole aging thing is made interesting because you get to wake up every few weeks and go "Hey, what cool new bodily malfunction is this?" and go on a thrilling wiki walk. I've learned a lot about human physiology lately, and learning is fun.

I just don't like it very much, I saw a bigthink video on it and it seemed like it would be terrible to be a philosophy major

but sociology ties into other subjects like criminology, philosophy is way worse.

For job prospects, I agree. Then again it could show critical thinking if pulled in the right direction.

For general study out of interest? I disagree.

I don't regret the year of doing philosophy at college one bit.

Then again, this was a 6th-form college AS level.
