I showed my friend Garry's Mod, which required Steam. They were interested, downloaded steam, and bought it.

Now this person is a die-hard PC gamer. And my better half.
WOAH, WOAH, WOAH. Stop. Stop. ...stop.

This is the single greatest thing in this entire thread and it's not even related to the thread.

You're essentially saying you used Garry's Mod to pick up. HOW CAN THIS FLIRT BY UNNOTICED?! THIS IS... woah. Well first off, congratulations, and second, you turned someone into a PC gamer and boy/girlfriend, a transformation that some men will spend their whole life trying to accomplish, and you're saying it like it's just another day at the office.

Our priorities in this thread are really quite backwards if we let this slip us by. Truly an awesome nugget of slice of life. :3

That title literally took me three reads to understand. I understand the hatred of "Grammar Nazis" but the point of written language is to be understood!

And your name is MG? As in, that's what's written on your birth certificate? Does it not stand for anything?

Not teasing, just wondering. I thought names like SJ (Sarah-Jane) and MJ (Mary-Jane) were always shortenings of double-barrelled first names.

Facebook is awesome for organising and promoting events, keeping in contact with people and also lets you know useful information, like when tickets for the shows with the bands you like playing become available.
Also the 'facebook campaign' things are fairly really easy to just ignore.

Don't understand the hate.

Also I can see why they would think that name isn't real. I'm not entirely sure I believe it's real.
I think your post summed up most of my points. I use it every day to organize and keep up with what's happening around with my local stuff.
It's a real convenience to use when it works, and it's rarely anything worth crying over if it ain't working.
