Note that the links aren't saying "click here to download for free" but rather "learn how to play for free". I'm guessing they don't actually host or link to the games. If you're just paying for information, it's not illegal. It's only illegal if they're providing the games but they're probably not.
This. Emulators are completely legal to own, and the vast majority of emulator-offering sites specifically say to get your ROMs elsewhere, since you can legally rip ROMs of games that you own, and it isn't their business where you get your ROMs from.

3) Pretty sure those ads are just dummy links to scam sites.
Except it lists a real working URL.
you dont know how dummy redirecting scams work do you?
I find it really funny that you're talking about what I do or do not know, considering you don't know if that's a scam or not, either.

Or do you have any more information you neglected to mention?
Im glad i made you have fun.
I was merely asking whether you knew how redirecting scams work, which you dont claim to do, so ill explain:
You create a dummy website that you advertise (whether google spams, facebook spams or whatever) till it becomes Nr. 1 in search engines (like facebook suggestions).
When a person clicks n your site this is what happens: it opens your dummy website, a bunch of advertisements that you get paid for opens, then it redirects you to a real website (legit or not depending on how moral the scammer is).
From a scammer perspective: you exposed a dummy to a bunch of advertisement you get paid for.
From a persons perspective: you are spammed with advertisements and redirected to a legit (or not) website that has NOTHING to do with the ad you clicked on, likely dont even know the redirecting site exists.
It is not mischievous like viruses, but its a scam.
