After Facebooks recent updates (New chat bar, New News Feed) which have all frustrated me, I am considering switching over to Google Plus. My question is, is Google Plus any better or worse than Facebook? If so, is it easy to adjust to?

Its very easy to adjust to, its almost exactly the same but with some really cool and innovative new features that work well, trouble is it doesnt have as many users as facebook and finding people can be a bit of a pain, sign up and then wait until it gets big.

G+ is fast becoming my primary social network. Especially with Facebook's recent updates.

Tried getting on google plus but it won't let me change my e-mail address which I now don't use so I can't.
The facebook changes haven't bothered me, I can still use the old chat rather than that stupid bar that takes up half the screen and the new news feed doesn't affect me for some reason.

There's something about Google+ that I really like, but I can't put my finger on it, if all my friends were on it I'd switch over in a instant, but as it is, I'm just going to wait for it to get a bit bigger first, then switch over.

For those bothered by the Facebook changes, there are ways to revert back to the old format. I did it by changing my language setting to English U.K. from English U.S., but I am in Australia so I'm not sure if that makes a difference.

Anyway, I don't have a Google+ mainly because none of my friends are on it, so I haven't bothered. Can someone tell me about some of the features, or the pros/cons against Facebook?

you could say that Google Plus is Facebook for adults (up until now, don't know if it changes)

it's worth a try because besides the business related social-networks there aren't that many good alternatives on the market

Google Plus seems like it'll be more customisable, demand seems pretty high too, and it's still in closed beta (taking a leaf from Notch's book, obviously). I got rid of FB a few months ago, might get G+, definitely going to get Diaspora when invitations go out in October.

I'm a fan of G+ BECAUSE there aren't that many people on it. Once I start seeing some of the people I strongly disliked in high school, I'm sure I'll feel the same disdain for it that I do for facebook.

I have literally just started on Google Plus, and have never touched Facebook... The circles seem really innovative. Hopefully people will... you know... join it. I like Google, I don't like Facebook from What I have seen.

You can change facebook back to the previous version by going into the options and changing your country or language (I can't remember which) to UK.

I looked into Google+ earlier today and I do quite like some of it's features and ideas. In Google+, you group your friends into 'Circles', and then instead of sharing your status and photos with everybody, as you do on facebook, You can decide which circles to share stuff with. I find this quite nice as I don't really want to mix my family in with my friends.

However, Google+ is pretty deserted for me right now. I only have about 5 friends on it. So I'll be sticking with Facebook in the mean time but I'll be enjoying the change over to Google+ when it gets more popular.

Damn internet, doing important things whilst I'm asleep.

And I really hope this kills fb, it never really was a very good site.
