*facepalm* Really Fable 3?

Okay I know I'm MASSIVELY delayed on any discussion regarding Fable 3 but....REFRAIN FROM READING IF YOU HAVEN'T TAKEN THE ROLE OF THE KING YET!!




You know how when you are the king and the citizens alive depends on how much gold you have in your treasury, right?

And you know how every time you talk to your adviser, the dates move ahead....right?

And you know how the first 4 or 5 skip ahead maybe 60 to 100 days?

Why is it that after that you discuss Aurora, get a statute, and then with 108 days left have NO chance to give the needed money into your treasury to save all your citizens?

It's just like "Plenty of time, plenty of time, plenty of time, and now SCREW YOU NO LAST MINUTE SAVE!"

This is more of a rant really but did anyone else get upset about this kind of jump to the end that they had without a chance to save your kingdom?

Yeah I was pissed. In fact, I was pissed at all my allies knowing that I needed fucking money in order for them to survive and instead of being fucking patient and waiting a fucking year they fucking had to have that shit right then! Then the game skips 180 days after everyone gets their fucking money and making my treasury like -2000000000 and then they all fucking hate me anyway for "letting" all the people die. Fuck that shit. It was their own damn selfish fault. I will never be a good character in this game again because the people of Albion don't deserve it.

I saw it comming a mile away. When the 2 first decision parts as king ripped out a good half year of the calender.

I expected some last minute decisions, especially when it at first said "1 day until attack" and get the classic, "If there is anything you need to do, do it now, because we can never go back after this day"

I know what you mean. Love the game, but it was irritating.
I still remember the dialogue.
"Morning, shallow-charactered butler person, another day in the life of the Ruler of Albi-"
"Yep, one year already. Time does fly, right? By the by, how about that vicious attack by foreign shadow monsters that's occurring as we speak?"

yea no offence but i knew i would fuck up... I knew you would fail if you didn't get 6.5 mill...so while im waiting i was gona dick about until i got it
but getting 100K every 5 mins and waiting for 6.5 mill would bore you to tears...so i thought i might aswell put the taxes up to very high...but i cba to do it

The fact you had to go to EVERY building and repair them was annoying as hell. Why not just have a "Guess what you can repair everything by hitting "Y"!" feature

Well considering that I deposited 10 mill in the treasury the first time I had access I didn't have that particular problem. But missing out on all the other quests and being unable to finish leveling my weapons before the battle sucked.

Basically you do some king stuff and it moves you on...basically they are seperate quests and when you finish all 3 king quests it skips forward a couple of months...annoying as fuck

God i hated that move, thank god i got the guide to tell me when was the last day or i would have been screwed

but the thing i hate most about the game is it seems more biased to the evil characters than the good ones. most of the weapons you get only get upgraded if you do evil things, if you play good you need to get 8.5 MILLION to get all the good options and save everyone, while being evil you only need to get less than a million, hell it took me over twice as long to play good than evil beacause of the damn massive grid to gain money

Okay so don't do the king quests and you have unlimited time? What exactly causes the days to count down, doing anything or is it just specific things?

I know EXACTLY what you mean man, i kind of assumed that since the good options left you in a lot of debt that they would sort of allocate some time at the end for a kind of "go out and get some cash!" thing, at least a warning that when you go see your assistant itll skip the remaining 100 days
