Facts/myths about penis sizes

So I've been wondering about this for ages, but never bothered to properly look into it. Is it some kind of scientific fact or urban legend that black men tend to have large penises (or, at least, larger than most non-blacks and/or whites), and that Asian men adapted or something to have small penises?

This really appears to be random, if there is a non disturbing reason this came up by all means share.

My understanding was that while too few studies on this matter have been held to eliminate doubt, no significant racial correlation has been found. It really is just a myth.

Now you de-construct it and assess its credibility... what are the sources and the research papers backing it up.

I honestly don't care but... do some bloody research before writing something off...

By the map given it appears that there are definitely some differences depending on country, but the average only differs by a smallish amount. That assumes that all the data are from a decent source, and also doesn't really measure 'race' in a valid way, but is good enough I suppose.

Bear in mind that these are all average lengths, and there are probably outliers in all cultures with abnormally large dongs.

I was agreeing with the map, just exploring what the data appeared to show (which your graph replicates - some differences between populations, but these differences are within a couple of cm of each other). I also don't really feel like digging through journals on a Saturday night just to verify claims I was fairly sure of - if you want to do that, then fine.
