Assassin's Creed (There was no assassin element in this game for me. Each damn target SAW YOU AND FOUGHT YOU! The only people you could actually assassinate were civilians and guards)
Actually, with some of the earlier targets, you can sneak assassinate them. It just requires a lot of sneaking, patience, and not charging in-ness.

Please, improving your spelling punctuation and overall coherence can go a long way. And avoiding ZP quotes is very helpful as well. Mostly for my blood pressure.

Bionic Commando for pretty much all the reasons Yahtzee stated in his review as well as the lack of free roaming. It made me mad since the NES one was so damn good.

also

Mirror's Edge seemed very stylish, but there was no substance. The controls were shit. The plot was weak. I never got that "feeling of momentum" that everyone else seems to get from it. And the fact that it was FPS; I hate the fact that they made a game based so heavily on parkour and yet we can't see the moves. That's like if District B13 was filmed with a helmet camera.

and

Guitar Whore-o and it's entire cabal. They could have come up with a better peripheral and they could have made a game that actually taught some basic guitar lessons, but instead we got Frequency remade with a $60+ controller that feels like it was made by Fisher-Price.

Spore. Most pirated game ever.

Black and White also fell below expectations.

CRYSIS, don't get me wrong its a great game but when it takes the alien twist it lost quite a larger bit of credibility and awesomeness.

I highly doubt this was on anyones Christmas List.
Did anyone at the developers meeting wonder who was actually gonna buy this game?

Call of Duty 5. Guns were unbalanced, dogs were cheap, guns sounded awful, spawn system sucked, and most of all... Tanks. Tanks were nightmares to fight against.

The only good thing about WaW was zombies, and I wouldn't buy the game only for that.
Call of Duty 5? Didnt know it was out yet. As for CoD: World at War, yes, dogs were extremely cheap and the guns had a balancing issue.

OT: Majoras Mask.

Resident Evil 4. Amazing production values: I really would have loved to play more than I did, but the controls sucked! I think we're well past the point where dual-stick shooting control is optional. And even then, at least let me move while I fire my gun. Way to completely ruin what was otherwise an amazing game.

Oh, here's another one. There wasn't too much commotion around it, but Damnation was a terrible game. Story sucked, gameplay mechanics sucked, graphics sucked ... just one epic fail game.
God yes! I was so psyched for Damnation once I heard about it, but I rented it for a week, brought it home, played it for an hour and never touched it again. Everything about it was awful. Before the opening cinematic was even finished I was feeling disappointed.

Lost Planet. Nothing it did it did correctly. Your character was really slow, the levels were too long, the bosses were uninspired, and the gameplay was boring.
