Of coarse that didn't happen. This game has more bugs than Motel 6. Game breaking bugs. About 16 hours in the Meh story and even more Meh combat and all of 3 different enemy types in the entire game... it glitched out and was unplayable, completely broken. I had seen some minor bugs before this one, but when I fell through the map and my character was saved falling through limbo, I declared it Fail of the year. Then looked online and found that there are many gamebreaking glitches. So basically, I am done with anything Fable and anything related to Peter M.
I'm playing it at the moment and enjoying it a lot but I have to agree with you about the bugs, the game has crashed 3 or 4 times on me and there's appalingly bad slowdown happening every 4-5 minutes.

Plus, I was really hoping I wouldn't have to fight more endless hordes of Hobbes and Hollow Men.

Both Final Fantasys.

I'm surprized no one has mentioned Medal Of Honor, not because I think it's a bad game, but because many people do.
I personally think Medal of Honour is a great game. It's weird, I shun anything Call of Duty above 4 and all the games similar to it but I just enjoyed MoH.
I only said I was surprized because everyone else seems to hate it.

I played a bit of the ps3 version and it was average, but the Pc version (As always) was pretty damn good, not GOTY good, but....."good" good.
I didn't say you said it was bad. I was merely stating my surprising appreciation for the game.

Of course it's not GOTY material. That would be stupid. You can't have an FPS like that as GOTY. It lacks depth.

I think ME2 was the best game this year and my biggest disappointment was, of course, Fallout: New Vegas.

I haven't even played it, and I'm nominating Final Fantasy XIV. Why? Because it failed miserably sales-wise, was actually poorly received by critics (most of whom usually like FF) and forced Squeenix to make a public apology and fire the creator's ass. Yeah, it's a major failure for the game industry of 2010.

Mass Effect 2. It had crappy gameplay, flat characters, and that Godawful ending sequence-- it makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about how far Bioware has fallen.
Hang on!

While I do admit that they have dropped in quality a bit since Baldur's Gate 2 (seriously, that game is amazing), I don't agree that it's that far. I mean, Dragon Age: Origins was awesome!
Yes, reinventing the Sword Coast while off-handedly mentioning a gussied-up Apartheid allegory is well and good and all, but it's not quite on the same level as lambasting western/eastern relationships, crucifying American foriegn policy, and imagining an entire universe that's equal parts Star Trek and H.P. Lovecraft. Call me a fool if you will, but I really don't think they'll be able to top Mass Effect 1 without exhuming and reanimating the better part of modern literature.

Borderlands. I know it was released earlier but I only played it this year, and I gotta say I was bored shitless with it.
Never played it, but everyone I know who has, has said the same thing.
I never had a problem with Borderlands. Of course all of my friends had it as well so i never played it alone. That could be why...

The honor goes to two worlds II ,usually i don't expect much from games ,since most of the time they end up sucking.
