Post here any villains in any videogame/movie/whatever that failed to grasp you as a rival and more like a god or a small obstacle.

I'm voting for Wesker on this one, also possibly Eden.

That commander fellow who was in charge of the Enclave in Fallout 3.
Not the computer one, the one with the southern accent.

Any "rivals" after the guy from Gold and Silver. You have to have some animosity between you to make the thing work, dammit!
Also, this thing from FF9.

[small]Its male.[/small]
Nothing against crossdressers, but when an antagonist is daintier than the girly princess, there's something wrong.

the...
hell?

But yeah, I'd also like to add Mehrunes Dagon.

Why? If you put in the time to kill him yourself, you'll notice the ending is exactly the same.

Only now it makes absolutely no sense.

LMAO! Kuja is only the start of Square Enix's obsession with girly men XD I mean after him you have Tidus (HE'S GIRLY! DONT DENY IT!) and Vaan for fucks sake! VAAN! Who is so obviously camp and gay he'd get lost in a gay pride parade cause he blends in SO well! XD

He may be a cross-dresser but damn, he's hard to beat (or at least was to me). The first time I saw him I was just confused at why they all referred to him as male. Maybe Kuja was meant to be a girl and they just made so many typos that they refer to her as a male...

There is nothing wrong with effeminate male characters, I just pointed out that it made Kuja a very nonthreatening antagonist. I mean, Seymour may have been very femenine and dainty, but he was a far more successful enemy.
And femenine males =/= homosexuality.
And don't dis homosexuality here.
It is narrow-minded, offensive, and irrational- therefore it is absolutely unacceptable.

Search bar, I made a thread like this a while back. But I don't wish to be mean so I'm not bitter and will answer your question.

Honestly the 'villain' in Devil may Cry 4... he was a lame excuse of desperate attmepts to make Dante seem like the hero by making him evil. The plot was dumb and the villain was lame too.

Tidus had some questionable clothing, but was not effeminate in any way. Nor was Vaan. Kuja was clearly lusting after Zidane, there's the difference. In FF12's case, the biggest problem with Vaan was he was never intended to be the 'main' character. It was originally written as Balthier was the main character, and Japan protested, saying he was too manly. (Which is funny, because he was manly, but very metro) 12 was going to play out like 6, where Vaan's starting story was just a means to an end to get the characters together, and then have Balthier take the reigns since it was his ship.

But no, Japan complained and the story was changed, not for the better.
