it world be interesting but then that really is not the point of gaming

yeah true crime tried it but the ps2 and xbox were at the limit of their technology but it might work with the ps3 and 360

they should try this in gta , if you fail a follow mission ,find another way to get there ... this would be true open world gaming

This is exactly what Dead Rising did in its true ending. You thought that you were going to get out just because you did things right? Fuck you! You don't need that escape chopper! Find your own way out of here! In the end, your alternate route isn't even shown to work well. The last you see of Frank and Isabella are them struggling to remain on the higher ground while the undead horde grows and grows. (Of course, there's text after the credits telling you that Frank's story got out, but still. It was a pretty bleak ending.)
