Fallout 3 - Do you own it?

OK, the reason I set this up is that I have recently noticed that nearly everyone I know owns Fallout 3 and spend much time talking about it. I also own it and I have even heard people I did not consider gamers talking about it in the corridors. How popular (or just well - selling) is this game?

Anyone else noticed this too.

The reason it sold so well is because Gamers thought "Ooh! More Fallout, the first 2 were great, let's give this a try" and normal people saw cool graphics and guns and went "Oooh! Shiny!".

I own it. It's initial popularity has died out now though. Only dedicate people and people who just bought it still play it.

I own it. I have devoted many hours to it and it has rewarded me with much entertainment. It gave me more gameplay for my money than any other game I've ever had. Everyone who owns a ps3, 360, or suitable PC should buy it right now. I'll wait.

Have finished it yet? No you haven't, unless you rushed through the main story without bothering to explore or do side quests. SHAME ON YOU!

I have it, and I love it. Maybe it's just where I go to school, but most of the people who consider themselves gamers at my school know little or nothing about fallout.

nope and never will. I never like RPGs where wandering around was a main element of the game.

Yeah its great except for some of the game breaking bugs. Like how I can't go within 150 ft of the Jefferson Memorial without the game crashing. Other than that its great.

I sold it because i though the PS3 wasn't getting the DLC.
A week latter Bethesda decided to screw me over and anounce that the PS3 is getting it!

But all in all it's a damn fine game.

I think you're the first person I've heard complain about the ps3 getting the DLC.

Nah, played it at a friends house (for a considerable amount of time) and it bored me to tears. The gameplay didn't feel good to me and I couldn't give two shits about the story, and if I am playing an RPG and the story sucks/bores me I got no reason to waste my time on it.

I may hate it, but even games I hate I can acknowledge as being good games by their own merits. Too bad it was wasted time for me.

I own it and I love it. Yes, compared to the previous Fallout's, it's sadly a lot shallower on the RPG part but it's still very very fun.

Yep i own it and for about a month after it came out it was the only thing anybody would talk about. I think everybody bought it because the desription of Oblivion with guns is so true and prety awesome.
