Yes, I own Fallout 3. I'm just glad the next two DLCs are going to change the setting...The Capital Wasteland was beginning to get a little bit tiring.

Aside from Mass Effect, it's given me the most playtime out of any of the games I have on my 360.

I have recently, like three days ago, rented Fallout3 myself. I was rather hesitant at first, I tend to not do well at shooters. But Zero Puctuation's review convinced me. The deep story and the intrique had pulled me in and hasn't let me go yet. Even the shooting elements are well done; I'm actually doing well. Few things are more satisfying than a super-crit grenade blast on a group of Super Mutants. Fallout 3 is one of those games that has something for everyone; hence the wide apeall. Be it RP, the surviving, the DnD-like stat development, or just simply quests that requires actual thought. And the rewards for each is good too. And the players always has a feeling of accomplishment. You pretty much have to be dead to not have an ego-boost after disarming the Bomb in Megaton, for example.

I sold it because i though the PS3 wasn't getting the DLC.
A week latter Bethesda decided to screw me over and anounce that the PS3 is getting it!

But all in all it's a damn fine game.
I think you're the first person I've heard complain about the ps3 getting the DLC. :p
After some of my experiences with Oblivion and Fallout 3, I think Bethesta has a weird pesonal grudge against me.

I mostly play it on the 360, 'cos that's where I originally got it (the version that came in a metal lunchbox with a bobblehead and loads of other junk). A couple of months later, I won a competition for a free PC game, so I got it on there too for the sake of mods and console shenanigans.

...and, for the record, I never played the previous Fallout games.

Disarming the bomb? Does not compute.

I own it, but unfortunately for the wrong system. And by the time the dlc comes out for the ps3 I won't care anymore.

I've got it, and I liked it a lot for the first few weeks.

It's more Oblivion than Fallout, but that's not SUCH a bad thing. Oblivion with better voice acting, more interesting locations, meaningful choices, better combat, better graphics, and so on is a pretty good game.

I don't own it no. I have no intention of getting it either. Oblivion with guns is still Oblivion (Don't get all fanboy-ee at me it's my opinion.)

Still trying to figure out how to mod it correctly... ><
I banged out a simple energy weapon damage boost mod, all the energy weapons but the liberty prime lazer have 3 or 4 levels to pick from.

I never played the original Fallout and its sequal. I never even heard of them, to be honest. But I did know Oblivion and Morrowind and their developper: Bethesda. On top of that, Sci-fi has always been more my thing than fantasy.

I played it for god knows how long. Trying all different weapon types, tried being evil, tried being good, tried staying neutral and it was all awesome.
