Well, I'm below 16 so I'd stay at Little Lamplight until then and then I'd head for Rivet City!

Id choose Tenpenny towers. even though most of the inhabitants are jerks. Theres a water purification system (tennpennys sink's have no rads) and Herbert 'daring' Dashwood lives there too! Hes the only reason I never helped Roy take over the place.

So many choices... I think my favorite home would be the vampire community of Andale. Those people are COOL. I wish my character could become one of them.... Or I'd live in either Vault 108 (trippy, maaaan) or in that one crazy guy's hangout in Marigold tunnels. I think the dude's name was Grady, he had a Ripper and a couple of pet Radroaches. I can't seem to find that little room again, tho.

I would live in Tenpenny tower...or set up my own settlement in the ruins of Springvale. No idea what I would name it yet, but it would own.

Either the Washington monument (best. sniper spot. EVAH!) or the Pentagon. Packed with weapons and trained people to use them.

Well, I love Tenpenny and most of its residents... Plus, I could pay Herbert Daring Dashwood to make more radio shows with Charon as his sidekick!

But I want to be in control. I would start my own settlement... somewhere safe and secure...

I think I would use Fawkes to make a bridge up to the raised railway track, make it safe to walk on and things, and build a settlement at a point where is goes over a high area of rocks. One way to it, single file, great position for safety, rocks shelter us nicely.

The Citadel, post-Project Purity. It would be safe, close to all that wonderful fresh water and that friendly lot from the Lyon's Pride are there. Also, Liberty Prime, or rather
what's left of him, but still, that's better than nothing

But as they don't really seems to have any free accommodation there, I'd maybe end up doing what I did in the game proper. That is, shacking up in Tenpenny Tower with just my robot butler for company, having turfed out everyone else, including the ghouls....

Possibly set up in one of the ruined houses near Rivet City. One of those damned skyscrapers must have an intact penthouse. Relatively safe since no mutants would be able to fit through all the small crawlspaces leading to my appartment, and I could purchase food and ammo from Rivet City.

I could even build myself a small elevator, so I could have a weekly shipment of food, water and ammo sent up...

It always bothered me how all the buildings had their walls blown off.

Something in me wants to start my own settlement though. Have a small, tight-knit group of soldiers, not unlike Riley's Rangers. Then kidnap The Lone Wanderer and get some serious ransom from James.

I'm getting waaaaaay too involved in this.

[small]...would be so cool though...[/small]

Personally I would never really settle down. I would maybe follow the trader path. You know, stop at Rivet City for some Aqua pura then travel down to Tenpenny tower and from their to Megaton and beyond. Only stopping for provisions and goods when needed.

I'd have to say underworld or rivet city. Although signing on with Reilly's Rangers would be kind of fun. Or the brotherhood of steel.

I'd sleep in Vault 112, the only functional vault that you can actually leave and return to, but during the day I'd just mess around outdoors and look for food if the vault's stock ever ran out.

Bethesda Ruins, after kicking out all the raiders and bringing in my own people, it'll be hella cool!
