When I reported Burke, he killed Lucas and left before I did anything. I picked up Lucas' hat, put it on my head, trekked all the way to Tenpenny Tower (killing the mercs Burke employs along the way) then lied that I was going to kill the ghouls for them. As soon as the security chief opened the door, I magnummed him in the face, killed my way to the top floor and then power fisted Burke. I dropped Lucas' hat on his corpse and walked away...

That sire, is the most epic story I have read tonight. I shall raise a glass in your honour tonight.

I never went out of my way to kill a certain person but I nuked Megaton because everyone in that hellhole wanted me dead!

I wanted the sheriffs hat in megaton so i killed him for it. 3 in game days later i went back, saved the town, then the sheriff thanked me... from the grave i guess? so after he paid i killed him again, took his hat again, ect.

Please them, then kill them.
Makes the job a whole lot easier, they are distracted by getting what they want.

Turn the difficulty down or get some metal armor untill you get the power armor.
