Yes but cats are relatively useless when hunting larger game. So would you rather eat something that helps you or something that uses your body to sharpen it's nails?

After a bit of research Deathclaws are Chameleons but Centaurs might have some cats in them. The Vault also gives the explanation that they were hunted as easy prey so all died.

I thought Centaurs were supposed to have just a bit of everything in them?

Yes, there is also a lack of babies and contraception. At least in Fable 2 they let you practise safe sex AND why can't you collect the dolls?

House cats unfortunately don't have either size or cooperation going for them.

The mountain cats on the other hand... I thought they were Nightstalkers. If you look at them, they are definately feline in appearance and remind me of mountain lions.

Disagree and agree, in that order.

1. Housecats are still cats and would resume prey hunting conditions quite sharpish.
2. Deffo Nightstalkers are catlike.

More importantly: "Where are the freakin snakes?"

Cats are extinct in Fallout lore. Housecats could not survive a nuclear apocalypse at all. The only breed of big cat in America is the cougar, and none of the Fallout games have taken place in an area where Cougars are common/not extinct aside from Fallout Tactics.

The "hunted to extinction" works for small cats, but what about Wildcats, Pumas, Panthers, Jaguars and the tons of big cat zoo animals from the US...
