So you can store stuff in random houses and not lose it? That's good to know, I was never really sure.

Yeah, what I did was put some small stuff that I wasn't afraid of losing in the house, both in a drawer and on the floor, left, and then went back in and all my stuff was there. So I just put my heavy stuff like Power Armor that I wasn't yet trained to use, two miniguns, my fat man, and a bunch of clothes. Plus if I was ever injured I would just go back home and sleep on the bed and stock up on stuff.

Sweet.... I know where I'm gonna be hanging out on my next playthrough so. I'm rather tired of the trek to and from the door of Megaton to my house.

oh, you might want to be careful about where you store your stuff as many containers do reset almost randomly

This was my last major character sitting in their (basically untouched) Megaton home. I'm planning to do another playthrough probably starting next week or so, or perhaps to just continue a different character I had started a few weeks ago after this one in the picture. I may also just remake this character, since I lost this savefile when I re-installed my game.

The PC version of Fallout 3 rules. ^_^

Edit: Also, props to anyone who can take guess at who I was (roughly) trying to get this character to look like. My remake will have a hair style that is much closer to what the character I was impersonating actually has, though the present color matches. Oh, and its not Rei.

First character I played that ever got out of the vault. Not a good character pic but oh well, this is about as far as she ever made it. I was unhappy with her house and after causing more harm than good with GECK I gave up:
One using the wasteland wanderers mod. There's a raider up ahead but she never went into the alley. Oh well.
This one is because of a mod to shrink the left hand to a more feminine size. It does that but when gripping weapons it does some funny things to the hand.
I guess I'm not much for character screenshots. But there you are.

Well, I'm not afraid to admit that my Megaton house is decorated to kingdom Come. I have:

-A quartet of gnomes in funny hats
-My piece of brain wearings Button's Wig
-Two crates of Mutfruit
-A desk covered in every unique melee weapon that I could fit (I put the unique autoaxes elsewhere; they couldn't fit)
-My First Laboratory guarded by 20 garden gnomes
-The obligatory bed full of Teddy Bears, including the larger ones
-A sink full of the crystals from Mothership Zeta.

You could say that I like Fallout 3.
