What I mean is: What is all this rabbitting about MS points, or so?

MS points are how you buy things via XBL. 800 points $10. 1200 is $15.

I just wish they were raising the level cap to 30 now, I've been level 20 with this character forever, so much wasted exp.
If you've got the PC version, you can run these plugins:

http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=121
http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=165

They essentially allow you to re-earn level 20 as many times as you can.

The first time I ran across a motorcycle in the game, I totally thought it was going to be drivable. Alas, no dice.

I hope there's some really epic battles. I found the game to be lacking in big battles, most the time it just clear out this building full of 8 guys.

That's where this other plugin [http://www.fallout3nexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1415] comes in. ;)

The fuck is that? Why don't they just use cash like the PsN?
because that way MS gets more money... and... when is this coming for the ps3? never? or maybe one day....?

Doesn't the Wii have a similar system with their downloadable games?

[Yep, Wii points [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii_Points], which are pretty similar to XBL points. I guess that makes the PsN the only shop to use straight cash.]

There's a couple of reasons. One, prepaid cards. A lot of people are still paranoid about buying things via credit cards online and prefer to use prepaid cards for a lot of things. Next, parents can load their kids gamertags with points, to give them $30 worth of points to spend on whatever they want. On the more cynical side, since you can only buy points in multiple of 500, MS gets you to buy more than you actually need. Ergo, if you need 1200 points, you need to buy a thousand point package and a 500 point package, costing you 18.75 instead of the $15 you'd normally spend. Also, they can award people points for winning contests and stuff.

I would get this one over all of the others because it isn't just the wasteland anymore: There's a new environment to explore, and all of the new content like the t-51-b looks really cool

Your grammar is horrible.

This expansion will never appear on the Playstation 3; neither will any other one. Microsoft bought exclusivity rights to it. It isn't a timed exclusive, it's permanent.

Number 1 can be taken away using a prepaid credit card you can get pretty much anywhere. No 2. you can do the same thing, i.e. paying $30 into an account, like gifting money on iTunes. No 3 seems to be the only real reason. No 4, the exact same thing could be done with cash.
I don't know -- maybe they figure that gamers on those consoles will be more willing to spend they money if they refer to it as "earning points."

That's probably exactly it.

Also, this way it costs the same regardless of location, just the price does. So rather than have to price a game at X dollars and Y euros, they can just make it Z points and set up the proper rates for points to money. Also, I don't know much about pre-paid debit cards, but I'm pretty sure they aren't sold at you local game store.
