I'm always up for giving people an excuse to wander the wastes some more. So who thinks they can find all these obscurities? Post where you found them so I know you're not full of it. The winner gets a sweet picture of Cousin Roman fighting a Yao-Guai!

1. A Giant Ant colony without a queen. (The Antagonzier is a queen. Also, not the nest in Springvale Elementary.)

2. The Dog Warrens

3. General Chase's Overcoat

4. Ruzska the Circus Bear

5. A gnome taking pictures of teddy bears tied to the tracks.

6. A skeleton of a T-Rex next to a human skeleton with a shotgun. (Anybody get the reference?)

7. A Mr. Handy which recites "There Will Come Soft Rains."

8. Gary 23

9. A chair and Sniper Rifle sitting atop a cliff, with a beautiful view of the valley below.

10. The Enclave soldier that killed Liberty Prime. (Enclave Log #1)

11. Lag-Bolt, Lug-Nut's brother.

Some are much harder than others. And guides will not get all of them(and are for pussies anyway). Quote this post if you want clarification.

I think I might just give this a try!

I currently have the 360 version, but none of the DLC. I just got a new gaming PC, so I might pick up the GOTY PC Edition, so I can play all of the DLC (as it would be just as much as actually getting the DLC on 360). This sounds like a cool list of stuff to watch out for as I re-explore the Capital Wasteland!

Brilliant idea! If I do allow the brain worm that tells me to buy more video games succeed, I will try this after picking up a GOTY edition.

I think #1 is near Shalbridge

#3 is on Zeta, although seems to have a bug that makes it appear as Winter Combat Armor (Sadface)

#8 It is the Brotherhood outpost from the Operation Anchorage DLC, lying dead on the ground in a room

All I've got

Someone's just going to cheat and go to the wiki.

Hm, does the one inside the school next to Vault 101 count?

4. Ruzska the Circus Bear
That's the bear in point lookout. I'm pretty sure you find him in the north west corner of the map. Might be north east.

8. Gary 23
Vault 108. However that's to obvious. Is Gary 23 the one in Operation Anchorage that the outcasts tried to force through the simulation?

9. A chair and Sniper Rifle sitting atop a cliff, with a beautiful view of the valley below.
Don't know for sure. I think there are several spots like that actually. For example, if you go onto the roof of one factory in the middle of nowhere, there is a chair with a BB gun and pellets on it, faced towards the expanding wasteland seen bellow.

Those are the only ones I might know.

I've found all but #6 and #10, and for #3, there are three of them!

One of which is glitched to look like regular Winterized Combat Armour.

Nope. They're just regular mutated ants. But you're right about the other two.

1. Shit, it's right at the beginning of the game and I overlooked it. No, that's not the one. I'll edit the OP to make that clear.

4. That's a Bingo!

8. You got it.

9. This is a Sniper Rifle, a chair, some .308 ammo, and a cinderblock for propping one's feet upon, all on planks that jut out over the cliff. When you look down into the valley, three raiders spawn for your amusement. Hint: It's near an inhabited campsite.

I found a chair with a BB gun and pellets, but it was on level ground across from a power station with a Quantum nearby. You may get me hunting. It's on a factory you say?

Also, the wiki won't get you all of them. I checked.

Those are the hard ones. Do you remember where 5 was?

Also, 4 of these need DLC.

My friend got 5 of them, but I had already shown him 9.

It would be cool if there were a way to make these achievements.

I also added number 11.

5 was... one of the subway tunnels added in Broken Steel?
I'm sure that's right.

And 11 is in that Hotel, I forget its name.

Right on both counts. Currently you've got the high score. I'll tell you this much: 6+10 are both DLC content.

I'd really love to, but I don't think I can handle a 100+ hours Fallout 3 splurge, especially when I'm in the process of college applications and studying for my finals and- *head asplode*

No idea about 6, but I'm guessing 10 is somewhere in the Adams Airforce base?

Thing is, now you've changed 1, I'm no longer right.
Could it be the Shalebridge friendly ant colony?

Can't take screenshots on a 360 so you'll have to take my word for it.

I've played 300+ hours of F3. Might add a few more questions!

1. A Giant Ant colony without a queen. (The Antagonzier is a queen. Also, not the nest in Springvale Elementary.)
Shalebridge

2. The Dog Warrens
There are a few of them, one around Reclining Groves somewhere

3. General Chase's Overcoat
Mothership Zeta, in a locker

4. Ruzska the Circus Bear
Top left corner of point lookout in a cave with a big bouncy ball

5. A gnome taking pictures of teddy bears tied to the tracks.
Presidential Metro, at the dead end after the control computer room

6. A skeleton of a T-Rex next to a human skeleton with a shotgun. (Anybody get the reference?)
Not sure but I think I've heard it's under the water in Point Lookout??

7. A Mr. Handy which recites "There Will Come Soft Rains."
Mc CLellan Family townhome - Georgetown

8. Gary 23
Brotherhood Outpost- they cut him up to get his pipboy

9. A chair and Sniper Rifle sitting atop a cliff, with a beautiful view of the valley below.
no idea - unless you mean the shack with Victory Rifle over Rocbreakers?

10. The Enclave soldier that killed Liberty Prime. (Enclave Log #1)
mobile base control room

11. Lag-Bolt, Lug-Nut's brother.
In the hotel in Georgetown... La miason Beuregard

Mothership Zeta

Isn't this due east of Evergreen Mills if you follow the tracks?

7. A Mr. Handy which recites "There Will Come Soft Rains."
This is in DC somewhere, I believe it to be near one of the Georgetown Metros, if you follow a canal up. It recites it as a bedtime story for the children.

8. Gary 23
Found in Operation Anchorage, the "clinic" of the Outcast Outpost.

9. A chair and Sniper Rifle sitting atop a cliff, with a beautiful view of the valley below.
Above Rockbreaker's Gas Stop I believe.

Right about 10. The Shalebridge friendly colony are MUTATED ants, not giant ants.

I think we have a new high score. As far as the ants, see above. And I'm not talking about the Rockbreakers shack. C'mon, that's practically a landmark. Good job on 2, 5, 6. The enclave soldier one would think to be in the crawler, but he's not. He's close, though.

Right except for the ants and the Rockbreakers supposition. See above.

Hmmmm....

Was he in the tower opposite the base? Where you open the door to the crawler? Damn. Tough one.

Also, will you PM me the location of that chair and Sniper Rifle, I want to know where they are and I can't for the life of me remember! The only two I can think of are in urban areas!

Re: Enclave Trooper-You're getting hotter. I didn't find him until my sixth playthrough.
