So here's the deal, I've had Fallout 3 for awhile now and it has come to my attention that there is what can only be explained as a "Fuckload" (or "funkload" if your a kiddy friendly person) of Missions/Spectacles and Adventures to be had and there's still many more.

To cut a long story short, what are some of the lesser known Fallout 3 adventures out there? Here are some that don't count: Naughty Nightwear, The Explosive Alleyway and The Crazy Worm Guy, The Ghosts of Vault 106, etc. Tell me! TEL MEH NOW OR I EAT UR NEWSPAPA!!!!1!11!

Have you discovered the medic armour prototype? Or, in a similar vein, the "ya gotta shoot them in the head quest", which, if played right, will give T-51b armour. Granted, that last one isn't exactly obscure or not well known, but it's easy to miss (I know I did, first time round).
Also, stay the FUCK away from the Dunwich building if you value your sanity.

And also Kil, My sanity left me a good long while ago so don't you worry about that!

The Lost Oasis quest, you can only get it by killing a cultist sniper miles away from anywhere :)

Tell me about the "Naughty Nightware" please... Google isn't too helpful with that search term.

That place is over-hyped. I went there and didn't find anything the least bit frightening. Maybe I just missed something. Now if you'll excuse me, I have babies to eat.

Hahaha...nice

But anyway Naughty Nightwear is an unmarked quest. I think in Greyditch Subway Station (can't remember) you find some headless bloke in a pool of blood and brain matter decorating the walls and beside him is a holotape... continue on from there. I don't want to spoil it...

"GIVE ME THE NAUGHTY NIGHTWEAR!"

ALSO! I agree with Wolf, over-hyped, but entertaining and Vault 106 isn't much different.

In one of the Metro tunnels, you'll come across a room with a rotating light above it. Pick its lock and loot the stuff inside. There's a [ITEM]naughty nightwear[/ITEM] in there. Upon picking it up, you'll see a raider with a unique name (Lugnut, IIRC) rush to your position demanding that you give him the [ITEM]naughty nightwear[/ITEM]. You can give it to him (no fun in that) or you can waste him. The stuff with the [ITEM]naughty nightwear[/ITEM] is an unmarked quest.

EDIT:
Ah yes, Dunwich Building was wierd. It had ghouls and the place was just creepy as fuck. Doors suddenly open/close without your intervention. It's dark, and you get the Holotapes of the last person who survived in that building, you get a glimpse of his descent into madness. And finally
You get to see the survivor, only in a ghoulified form. Strangely enough, killing him gives you good karma.

- Finding a note in Hubris Comics which will give you a special dialogue option at some time during a certain quest.
- Going to the local newspaper's HQ in D.C. where you will find a man (or his corpse) which possesses a key to a certain building.
- Finding the "Shady Glasses".
- Finding Rockopolis where you'll discover the fate of a famous person.
