Slagathor slowly began to write the G.O.A.T occasionally peaking over across the room to Susie Mack. She was wearing her sexy Jumpsuit today...well it was the same jumpsuit all the time but none the less, she looked really good in it. He found himself distracted by her and realized he had missed half the questions. Panicking he filled in random blanks. A 1 here, a 4 there, until he was caught up for the final question.

Mr. Brotch seemed to lose the enthusionism for the questions that Slagathor had heard before in his selection of questions. He spoke with a tired voice, almost resigned. And from that man's lips came the toughest question of the entire G.O.A.T exam, "
Who is indisputably the most important person in Vault 101: He who shelters us from the harshness of the atomic wasteland, and to whom we owe everything we have, including our lives?"
Slagathor balked. He looked at his options, they were all the same. It had to be a trick question. There had to be a right answer. One by one his classmates got up to hand in their tests. Amata scored high, Slagathor couldn't help but giggle when he heard what Butch had been selected for. Hairdresser, now that was a joke.
Slowly one by one, his classmates were drafted into their respective careers. Some were pleased, some were pissed and still Slagathor sat stuck at his exam. Finally it came to him. It was so obvious. He selected option #4: The Overseer. He jumped up from his desk excitedly and marched towards Mr. Brotch's desk. He got there just in time to see Susie Mack get selected as a teacher. He smiled as she walked past him. It would be so romantic, her teaching the Vault Children of tomorrow, he a Waste Management Specialist...
"
Pip-Boy Programmer."
Slagathor snapped out of his stupor as Mr. Brotch spoke, "I'm sorry could you repeat that Mr. Brotch, its almost as if you said 'Pip-Boy Programmer' instead of 'Waste Management Specialist.'"
"
That's because I said 'Pip-Boy Programmer Son."

Slagathor felt his life's dream crumble around him. For so long he had dreamt about this day, taking this exam and embracing his chosen career from since he was ten and shooting RadRoach's in the lower areas of the Vault.
He heard himself quietly thanking Mr. Brotch and began to walk out of the classroom, and into his life as the Vault's new official Pip-Boy Programmer.
The years that followed would prove both a blessing and a curse for Slagathor as he was eased into his new job. He missed the sewer systems, but there was a certain fulfilment to working on the Pip-Boys. He often got to hang around with the younger children and allowed him to get closer to Susie Mack. Soon they were dating and were inseparable as they grew up together, dreaming of the day that they would marry. His father approved of his choice in career, his choice in his partner, though apparently he was sad that they couldn't continue their "appointments" anymore.
This was Slagathor's life and he was content. Too bad it wouldn't last not soon after his 19th Birthday.
It was early in the morning when Slagathor was shaken awake by Amata, his closest childhood friend. She looked panic-stricken as she waiting for his groggy mind to fully register what she was saying. Finally he looked at her, "What is it?"
"You need to leave the Vault now!" she said almost hysterically, "They killed Jonas!"
"Jonas?" Slagathor said, "Why?"
"Its your father, he's left the Vault."
Her words echoed in Slagathor's ears. Left the Vault? That was impossible. No one left the Vault. His thoughts changed from confusion to anger as he realized that they had killed Jonas to get back at his father. Amata quickly spoke her plan to him. He would have to break into the Overseer's office and take the secret passage out of there. She also gave him a pistol. Slagathor grinned, this would allow him to take care of any of the bastard guards that dared get in his way.

Before he left his room, he stopped to grab his old baseball bat as well. Spinning it in his hand he walked out of his room and almost smack dab into a showdown between one of the guards and three radroaches. Slagathor swung his bat, crushing two of the roaches, while the guard finished off the last one. Almost immediately after, the security guard attacked him, despite Slagathor saving his life. Slagathor ignored all hazard to his body as he proceeded to beat down the security guard with the baseball bat.
He looked at the battered corpse with a realization that he had killed the man, the fact that it was selfdefense did nothing to stem the strange feeling in his gut.
This thought did not last long as Butch ran up to him in a panic. He said that there were roaches after his mom and that he needed help. Slagathor allowed himself a chuckle at the irony before he ran to Butch and his mother's room.
After defeating the roaches, Butch cried his praises and gave Slagathor his Tunnel Snakes jacket. Slagathor beamed and put it on along with a pair of glasses. He felt like a badass.
He moved quickly towards the Overseer's office, a few guards met their end with his baseball bat, but only if they attacked first. He was just about to the office when he peaked through the window to see Amata being interrogated by one of the Chief Guards and her father. His blood boiled as he saw the guard strike Amata with his baton. He wanted to intervene, but he knew she was stalling for him. He was very conflicted as to what to do....

What should Slagathor do?
1. Intervene, Murder both the chief and the Overseer for their crimes.
2. Intervene, Murder the chief and threaten the Overseer to obtain his key
3. Slip past unnoticed, Amata is doing this for you, it would be foolish to waste her sacrifice.
