Fallout 3 WTF moments...

I was walking around near one of the vaults when I tried to fast travel somewhere when it said that I couldn't because there was an enemy around. I didn't see anything so I tried it again. It said the same thing. Then, a fucking robot fell out of the sky right on top of me. It then somehow launched me into the air. When I came back down, I had barely any health left, and then the robot shot me.

In Big Town, the Super Mutants just attacked and I made sure that all of the town residents survived, I go into a building and when I come out Pappy suddenly goes flying into the air and dies when he comes back down. I looked around to see how this happened and there was nothing.
Also when I was in D.C. I just left the History Museum and a bus suddenly comes flying towards me, I get out of the way and it hits the side of the museum. I reload the game to see if this would happen a gain and it does, except this time it doesn't come at me, instead, it flys over the building into the sky and disappears. I never saw that bus again.

One of the better WTF moments has to be the flashback sequences in Vault 106. In particular, when you enter rooms with computers displaying messages from your character to your character. I was actually scared shitless.

About to get mauled by a group of deathclaws out of fucking nowhere they all just for some odd reason fly into the sky.
to this day I have no idea why.

got a headshot on a raider near the supermart that's close to megaton .. this was messed up .. the blood stuck out of his head like a giant hexagon and flailed around like crazy ... ok let me give you an example of its size .. look at a behamoth super mutant ... now image it as a radroach

long story short .. it flung me all the way back to vault 101....

My Fallout 3 WTF moment its when I was screwing around not far away from the Jury Street Metro Station.

I was just walking around when later I find this destroyed train and I see this shopping cart with a teddy bear inside. So just for the hell of it, I take the teddy bear and I keep walking.

Then all of the sudden, I get attacked by a Super Mutant Behemoth, then I die in less than a minute because I wasn't prepared for that.


I guess the Behemoth wanted his Teddy back.

My latest save is at that exact point. The Behemoth is supposed to be there, I had the same wtf moment.

The First time I fought a Reaver. Wasted so many Alien PC's on the bastard.

Then there was the Turtle Dove Detention Camp. SO. MANY. REAVERS.

Had a robot randomly flying through the air at an altitude of a couple kilometers. It started flying right before I quick saved too, so I quick loaded a bunch of times just to see it fly through the air. I had heard an explosion really far behind me some time before, and I had nothing to do with it. Apparantly that robot was involved somehow.

I actually have a really bad habit of forgetting these kind of things, but the most recent one (today actually) I can remember is this:

I was just walking along the wastes when I come across an Enclave Outpost, nothing really "wtf" about that though, but then it happens. I shoot one of them with my Gauss rifle (just got it, was trying it out). The Enclave soldier is about 20m away from me, and i shoot him. he drops dead immediatley, but his plasma rifle soars through the sky, landing right next to me.

Atleast to me, that was a "wtf" moment.

I was once roaming the wasteland and way way off I spot a group of raiders and a guy...in his underwear. I thought they were slavers and this was some poor victim so I watch from afar behind the scope of a sniper rifle when all of a sudden a yao gaui comes in to ruin their erm...party.

So there I am laughing at three raiders and a man in his underwear fruitlessly fighting this irradiated hell bear and I think to myself what good fortune that I managed to avoid that hazard and turned around to make a path around. Two-Deathclaws-in-my-face. I know their AI consists of them just running straight for whatever they see but as close as they were I swear they were just waiting. It was just like that bit in Jurassic Park.

The wasteland is such a cruel place.

I'll just say what I said in the other thread, since that's still the weirdest thing that has happened to me.

A mole rat corpse flew out of the sky and landed next to me. I looked behind me and saw a sentry bot fighting a death claw. The sentry bot won, but it was weak so I easily killed it. I then noticed a dead giant rad scorpion next to death claw, and next to that were the corpses of 3 Brotherhood Outcasts.

I still have no idea as to what happened in that area.

Oh yeah, there was one time in Point Lookout out were something crazy appended to a tribal's corpse. The body started flying through the air like crazy, it's limbs stretched out and flaying. It kept bouncing off the walls. It didn't end either. i imagine it would have done that forever if I had not exited the house.

EDIT: Oh yeah, I just remembered another one.

So I was walking towards Super Duper Market, when an Enclave soldier attacked me.

Your probably wondering what is strange about that. Well, this was before the Water of Life Quest. In fact, I hadn't even gone to Galaxy News yet. This Enclave soldier just randomly spawned and attacked me. Luckily, Sergeant RL-3 turned him into a pile of green goo.

I was in a seemingly abandoned building, exploring. So, I ran down the stairs, and suddenly saw a guy standing there. Needless to say, my jumpy hand fired a .44 round right in his skull, which resultet in...

That's possibly the best screenshot I've ever seen. Be less jumpy though, that guy might have been able to sell you stuff or something. The term you're thinking of is NSFW, by the way.

Oops, that was actually a typo. But I did try to reload and go back to him, but when I walked down there again he was allready dead. I think the radroaches got him. I won't say too much, but he did have a key, and some kind of gaming reference.

Apparently, Mini-Nukes are made out of the same stuff they use to create Super Balls, since I witnessed a Mini-Nuke bounce off a Super Mutant Behemoth's head, fly straight up into the air, then turn back and decide, "I'm a boomerang, only I FUCKING HATE WHOEVER SHOT ME"...which then promptly killed my cousin. But it was awesome, none the less.

Lol what? That sounds awesome man! How did that happen? I wish you were recoording that because whenever I fire a Mini Nuke it explodes on contact with anything.

For me, it would be all the weird death glitches that happen in my game.
For example, the Super Mutant Behemoth that I killed by spamming grenades has twitchy little leg stumps that move back and forth forever.

Several Super Mutants that I've killed had what seem to be anti-gravity Hunting Rifles, because they have been floating in the air at head level ever since the mutants died.

Same thing happens to me.
