I'd like them to make Fallout 4, but it should take place in London... How awesome would that be?

Edit: Also, it should include Co-op. Online and offline.

Yes but they should take their time with the game and make it as bugfree and fun as possible and think of an interesting story.

But then again this is Bethesda.
This is pretty much what I was gonna say... No goddamn bugs and glitches and hire proper writers instead of letting the devs do it.

Or Get the 2k marin writers to write it...

Elder Scrolls 5 first, then set Fallout 4 somewhere intresting
Yes. Though not New York. it's a nice city and all, but it gets way over used. Maybe Fallout: Hawaii. Something off the beaten path, as long as it was good quality.

And on oblivion 5, add some stuff from Fallout, some stuff from ES:4, both good games that could be used to make the Elder Scrolls 5 even better.
Why would Hawaii be nuked? Also its not very built up its just a volcano nothing would be left if it was nuked.

oh, most definitely. but it probably wont come out until 2012 or 2011. bethesda is now currently focusing on Elder Scrolls V so that should come out next year ir the year after. personally, i dont want them to rush anything. to do so would take away from the game.

Yes. But keep Bethesda away from it. And set in somewhere other than the US. I was always curious as to what happened elsewhere in the world..
Well, I'd love for just about anyone other than Bethesda to make a new Fallout game, as I think they kinda missed the point in 3. But I'm not sure about removing it from the US. The Fallout series would not be what it is if it didn't have the slightly warped sense of Americana gone insane. It's one of the defining things.

And please, makers of next Fallout, drop the FPS crap and make it an actual role playing game again. That includes plenty of dialogue and in general just better dialogues, a decent stat system, a better inventory, more humour etc. In short, don't repeat Fallout 3.

Or better yet, stop rehashing an old franchise that I love and make something new for a change. Enough with the damn TES and no more fucking Fallout up.
Good point about the twisted Americana, actually. I feel quite stupid for leaving it out of the equation =/

The FPS part highlighted a lot of graphical flaws. Hopefully, the sequel might be more along the lines of Mass Effect or something. That system is contemporary enough but retains a nice rpg feel..hmm

My main gripe was that my stats had zero effect on how my PC would interact with others. There was no penalty for being a retarded brawler. One of the best things of the old games was the way it changed depending on you PC. It didn't on the third game. I loved being able to be a retarded brawler hardly capable of making a coherent line of dialogue.
And while I liked ME alright I still felt that it was lacking in the dialogue department.

But I guess it boils down to me secretly wanting every RPG to be Fallout 2 or Baldur's Gate 2 and unfairly comparing them to it. :) I feel that ME (and Fallout 3) had too much emphasis on combat instead of character development and dialogue and interaction with NPCs.

But to return to the Americana thing: one aspect of all the Fallout games has been the recognition of our own society gone insane and a kind of melancholy. If the game was moved to, say, China, I would not know the society and not know how it had changed. It would be great for the Chinese players I guess, but for me it would be weird. I would lack the frame of reference I normally have in Fallout.
That's not to say I wont play a game set in China (post apocalyptic or not) but I'd rather play something new and not a Fallout game. Fallout is a take on the US and western way of life. Leave the rest to other games I think.
