i was browsing the "Future Game Discussion" forum at NMA and came across this post: "Fallout: Ashen Earth" its basiclly an idea of this fallout game that takes place in post-war Beijing, China. its pretty interesting actually since the fate of post-war China remains unknown in fallout universe and I personally think that seeing a post-war Beijing would be awesome.

sounds cool. Hope they have a lot more spacious and spectacular architecture (though bombed to hell, of course).

That'd be interesting since the lore says that was the other major power of the conflict. It could be a nice change of setting. I'd definitely play it assuming its not broken like New Vegas.

Sounds interesting, I'm honestly a little sick of Post-Nuclear War America, just for once I'd like to see somewhere else, same goes with Alien invasions, it always seems to be New York or LA getting hit.

I think Fallout should stay in America. A large part of the Fallout culture is the 50s era feel just blown up.

Sounds like a great idea for a pen and paper campaign, but kinda meh on the videogame concept, let me play through Van Buren first then we'll talk about this.

I think this would be a brilliant idea, for two reasons. First, it's a neat idea to see what the people we were originally at war with in the game are up to. And second, if China hasn't been able to stop Fallout 3 from using China, then it's too late to argue about this.

Exactly how was New Vegas "Broken?"

It was buggy as hell, In some cases the game was nearly rendered unplayable. Patches have since come out which have fixed 99% of all the bugs. The American PC versions suffered most i believe.

Interestingly I know people that had no faults on an unmodded, non-Live Xbox. Though I feel sorry for the people that missed out on some of the fun due to sheer bad luck.

I see, yeah makes sense to me. I've even had trouble on the console version. Never thought about it being broken though. Valid point.

So in on that.
Could be with an emperor, ninjas, samurai and all that jazz set in a really large area with a motorbike or horse mount.

I would also like to see one set in England with a 1920s feel.

I would love a Fallout game to be set in Britain, been able to travel to Scotland, England, and Wales, Ireland would probably be DLC, unless the map would be fecking humongous!

I would love to visit were i live in the real world in the gaming world =3 if that made sense.

That's what I always figured: US & China get bombed to all hell and the rest of the world found itself better off with everything staying that way.
