That means that it didn't download all of the files properly, the missing/damaged file will be re-downloaded and repaired.Champion360 said:"1 file failed to validate and will be reacquired"?Fayathon said:Verify the integrity of the game files, there's an option for that under Properties when you right click the game. Do i redownload it myself or does it do it for me?Fayathon said:That means that it didn't download all of the files properly, the missing/damaged file will be re-downloaded and repaired.Champion360 said:"1 file failed to validate and will be reacquired"?Fayathon said:Verify the integrity of the game files, there's an option for that under Properties when you right click the game. It'll do it for you. Just let it carry on and you'll see it download again; hopefully it should work first time, else re-verify it.Champion360 said:Do i redownload it myself or does it do it for me?Fayathon said:That means that it didn't download all of the files properly, the missing/damaged file will be re-downloaded and repaired.Champion360 said:"1 file failed to validate and will be reacquired"?Fayathon said:Verify the integrity of the game files, there's an option for that under Properties when you right click the game. When a file or fileset fails to verify on Steam it automatically re-downloads the files that are corrupted/damaged and repairs the files itself. If the problem persists, however you may need to completely erase the game and manually re-download it, but those instances are incredibly rare in my experience.Champion360 said:*snip*
Hey the same thing is happening to Torchlight but it says all the files are ok.Fayathon said:When a file or fileset fails to verify on Steam it automatically re-downloads the files that are corrupted/damaged and repairs the files itself. If you've got any issues with the games you've downloaded from Steam the easiest and fastest way to get them running again is the verify the cache on them. If you've got any other problems on any other games try that as a first stop, if the problem persists, that's when you'll need help.Champion360 said:*snip*
