Fallout New Vegas: Is it still going to be multiplayer?

I was just playing a bit of fallout 3 while waiting for new vegas and was wondering... is new vegas still going to have multiplayer?

What do you mean "still" going to have multiplayer?
I don't recall Fallout 3 being playable in any way, shape, or form with more than one person.
Ah well, I guess I shouldn't have expected a thread that made sense from some one who has "69" in their user name.

They're saving the multiplayer portion for the Fallout MMO they're trying to get off the ground.

Hopefully it never does.

No, Fallout is very much a single player game. It has too much to do for the single player to think about multiplayer. I don't remember hearing it was ever going to have multiplayer, in fact.

However, Interplay (the original owners of Fallout) are making a Fallout MMO if you're interested. Last I heard it was a bit sketchy on the legal side of things so it's not too solid.

Steam, Amazon, GameStop, GAME, the usual suspects. Although I wouldn't be too surprised if the pre-order bonuses were released as DLC.

Don't know, assassin's creed is managing to put in multiplayer, so maybe but doubtful.

Muh. I think co-op would be neat in Fallout: New Vegas, as do I with almost all other games =p. I think co-op is a great adition to any game, especially when you can still play the single player without suffering from co-op adaptions. I'd like to see more games do full campain co-op's, or even sandbox games with co-op. 2-4 players! =D

I wanted all the extra content so I ordered all four. Ha, I kid, can you imagine if I was like that?

Actually, none of the stores in the UK have the pre-order packs to my knowledge so I won't have anything extra. In fact, I haven't pre-ordered it yet but as soon as I get paid I'm getting myself onto Game and pre-ordering my most anticipated game.

Actually, none of the stores in the UK have the pre-order packs to my knowledge so I won't have anything extra. In fact, I haven't pre-ordered it yet but as soon as I get paid I'm getting myself onto Game and pre-ordering my most anticipated game.

Haha! I can imagine, although it hurts my brain a little. You never know what fanboys and girls will do next. Then again if you were like that I'd be tempted to fetch you a cold compress, some chicken noodle soup and a sandwich.

That's unfortunate that retailers in the U.K. aren't doing pre-order exclusives. If the game allowed it, I'd share mine with you.

ot: its a good thing about the fallout series, it does focus on expanding a gigantic, immersive and trivial world for you to explore

No please. This is one game I don't want them to sacrifice the single player game to make it multiplayer.

Getting game invites while wandering the wasteland just doesn't sound appealing to me.

Actually Play.com is doing the caravan pack, but I'm not sure if you meant not online retailers.
