I wanted all the extra content so I ordered all four. Ha, I kid, can you imagine if I was like that?

Actually, none of the stores in the UK have the pre-order packs to my knowledge so I won't have anything extra. In fact, I haven't pre-ordered it yet but as soon as I get paid I'm getting myself onto Game and pre-ordering my most anticipated game.
Haha! I can imagine, although it hurts my brain a little. You never know what fanboys and girls will do next. Then again if you were like that I'd be tempted to fetch you a cold compress, some chicken noodle soup and a sandwich.

That's unfortunate that retailers in the U.K. aren't doing pre-order exclusives. If the game allowed it, I'd share mine with you.
Yeah I know, it sucks, we might get it unknowingly of course. But I could use that Sandwich right about now.

No please. This is one game I don't want them to sacrifice the single player game to make it multiplayer.

Getting game invites while wandering the wasteland just doesn't sound appealing to me.
Agreed. It would completely mess with the crushing isolation and feel of the series. Although New Vegas certainly does seem more inhabited than the other locations... Anyway yes, I couldn't agree more. Single player games seem virtually extinct, which is unfortunate because storytelling drives single player games and it's all but nonexistent in multiplayer.

It seems all of the pre-order bonuses are available in game anyway so just a boost for the start.

I fucking hope not! There are few to many single player games out there.

Bringing New Vegas in multiplayer will not distinguish itself beyond all of the other first/third-person shooter games on the market because all of it's innovations are based in single-player mode. V.A.T.S. in multiplayer? Impossible, or incredibly clunky. No NPC interaction. It would be like stripping the features that make the game unique to make a boring multiplayer mode.

My suggestion for all those who would like a Fallout 3/New Vegas multiplayer game would be to either play or create a game with weapon mods in the Source or Unreal engines.
