There are SO many threads about New Vegas... Another one seems unnecessary...

Yes, I'm excited. I won't repeat the reasons why. I simply liked Fallout 3.

Stoked, very stoked indeed. It looks like more of Fallout 3, which I loved almost inappropriately.

...

*Googles stoked*

"stoked" - adjective - to be "stoked" is to be completely and intensely enthusiastic, exhilirated, or excited about something.

Well, I learned a new word today. Hurray!

OT: Oh yeah. I really liked Fallout 3 and I'm exited to see what this will do.

Plus, I'm a fan of Obsidian, so that makes it even more... stoking?

Contrary to popular opinion, I like Bethesda games, I like (some) Obsidian games, I like the fallout universe. I see no reason not to at least have an eye on it ;D

Nope. Fallout 3 didn't do it for me, and considering this game seems to be Fallout 3 with a more diverse color palette, I doubt this will change my tune.

I'm trying not to get hyped. Since its Obsidian developing on a Bethesda engine the amount of bugs will be insane.

But since its being developed by Obsidian, that will mean it will be pure RPG goodness wrapped in awesome. Plus with the recent fan interviews and whatnot, the fact that they're including mod tools and whatnot... aw man...

Must. Not. Get. Excited.

Hmm.....Let's say I'm cautiously optimistic.
I'm more pessimistic. Not for any other reasons than that the game hasn't been released yet and that pre-release hype seems to be inversely proportional to the quality of the game.

This would make a good poll for personality types, optimistic, neutral like Frozen, or pessimistic. like "Poll: your personality... a,b, charizard, etc."

Nah. Oblivion was awesome, and Fallout 3 was rather disappointing. I really wish they would fix the character movements and make them less robotic. It really ruins the immersion for me.

Thats not the reason why I am not getting it of course, but I don't exactly like the fact that they are taking it back to the "original" Fallout. I have learned my lesson from big game releases like this, They are promising me the world while getting my hopes up and making me splurge 60 bucks on it to be disappointed.

I unfortunately have to make my own money so I can't get all the cool looking ones, and sadly New Vegas isn't a priority.

I'm not that excited for it. I'll probably play it, but i'm not sitting here waiting for it to drop. Didn't really enjoy Fallout 3 all that much, got quite bored after awhile.

I'm nervous, because it's being developed by Obsidian, and their track record is underwhelming as of late.

So I'm interested, but trying to not get hyped up for it.

I'm trying Fallout 3 again and - after finding it so boring the first time - I'm quite liking it.

Having said that, New Vegas is being developed by Obsidian, has a putrid orange tint to everything and has worse graphics then FO3 (which was good-looking but hardly a benchmark tool back when it came out). So no, not particularly.

Hell yeah, if this game is terrible, I might have to go the Besitha and beat the crap out of them for ruining a good game and hyping it up so much that it make sDuke Nukem look like a Pansy

No, because I'm one of those sticks in the mud that despised Fallout 3 and everything it stood for. I liked the games as they were in the old days, not first person. See also the upcoming XCOM game.
