I remember in Fallout 2 I ruined a family in Nevada during my first playthrough. (I can't remember if the city was Vegas or Reno.)

The mother and daughter were both prostitutes, and both had addictions. I killed the father/husband of the family, drove the daughter to get hooked on drugs and got them both pregnant.

It was Reno. And I think this post shows why it was the best RPG area of all time.

As of FO 2 they already had 3 vaults at least that they have access to.

The NCR flag at the end made me very happy. This connection to the old F1 and F2 if pretty cool for old school fans like me.

But am I the only one who find that robot design hideously revolting?
Most of the robots in Fallout 3 didn't look too good either, but at least I found those more believable, the uni-wheel was a bit much.

Believabilty... meh.

I'm not too worried about believability in a series that lets you explode entire bodies with Teddy bears, heal wounds from nuclear missiles by sticking a syringe in your leg, cure nuclear radiation by sucking back some chems and have an invincible dad who can survive every weapon known to man...

Could be that they rebuilt after the war using power supplies from a couple of the surrounding vaults.
