Why the hell did obsidian nerf the sniper rifles in New Vegas, that absolutely made no sense to me and i am pretty sure no one complained about it

But bugs and dumb developer decisions aside i really liked New Vegas i just wish it had a bigger area to explore and interesting locations, also Old World Blues was awesome

Heard some more people got attacked last night.
You heard that too?

I went back to playing Fallout 3 recently after a couple of playthroughs of New Vegas and I really miss iron sights. I usually hate using them in games but they seem to work in NV. NV might not be 'as good' as F3 but there are lot's of little additions that improve the gameplay like that.

I'll have to try another iron sights mod at some stage.

suprised no-one has said anything about the weapon modding in NV at all (if ya did it musta been in a text wall)

i for one liked that especially. I turned every weapon i had into a sniper of some sort, and to complement it i had Boone and E-DE to help me find stuff around the Mojave for me to shoot

I was playing Fallout 3 wandering through interior D.C. and out of nowhere a whole shit load of super mutants and Brotherhood come out of damn nowhere. The fight was epic and shit was exploding everywhere. I should have sworn the entire thing was entirely scripted.
Was it on your way to The GNR Headquarters the first time? If it was, then yes, it was scripted. And epic.

What happened in Vault 11 is fucked up. Seriously fuck the puppets of Vault 70, the 1000:1 ratio of women to men in Vault 69 or the overcrowding of Vault 24, you force people to become politicized and they will fuck up.

If a deathclaw claws death, claws death a deathclaw?
Only if you have the gauntlet.

Yes, you too can own your very own Deathclaw Gauntlet FOR FREE! (Some assembly required, through.)

You know, I never synthesized much in those games, because I am something of a pragmatist. Do you know what I prefer in the Fallout games? I prefer being able to load and repair my items without too many hoops. You give me the standard ammo and the kind of weapon that'll repair it, and I'm fine. The only thing that can change that is the perk that allows you to fix anything with anything.

This here [http://www.equestriadaily.com/2011/04/story-fallout-equestria.html#more] is a Fallout/My Little Pony crossover, and it's damn good.
I know I'm four pages late, but thanks for posting this story, it's fantastic.

Boone was my favorite from New Vegas, The VA? Was in Fallout 2 and he played that stupid nerd who invented Jet.
Boone and Myron's VA are different people.

"Well, it's like big damn man is what it is, with claws and spikes that cut through the heaviest armor."
Later ...
"How'd you survive?"
"Didn't, got killed! HA! I love that joke!"

I want more fallout that tells me more of the NCR. Or better yet, have fallout game set in the american midwest.
I thought Nevada was the midwest? How about a Canadian Fallout, it was annexed before the War.

Actually it is the same guy, Jason Marsden.
It appears you're right, if the wiki is anything to go by.

THIS, this is why I love Fallout 2. Chris Avellone must have either done reasonable research on psychodelics or.. well..

It's one of those little sparks of genius that can totally go over some most people's heads.

It's not like you'd find anything like that in Bethesda's Fallout 3. It had slo-mo exploding heads instead.

You embedded the video wrong, I fixed it for you.

Also yes, Chris Avellone is a great writer and really knows how to tell a good story with great characters.

Oh, and for Jason Marsden, you know someone is a good voice actor when they can voice two different characters perfectly without you even realising it's the same voice actor. People like Jim Cummings and Jim Ward are good examples.
