Yes if they do the exact storyline from fallout 3 only movie-like.

Because there is a diffrence between Gamers and Movie-Go-ers.

No, it would never work. There hasn't been any good video game movies yet and I doubt there ever will be. Unless a good director like Peter Jackson, Zach Snyder, Robert Rodriguez, or Quentin Tarantino were directing than maybe there could be a good video game movie.

I don't think so. The world makes for an excellent setting, but the idea of the Fallout games is freedom and the ability to handle any situation the way you see fit.

No.

It would end up being like a remake of Mad Max.
I used to be such a Fallout fanatic, I tried my hand at writing a fanfic novelization of the first game...

...until I thought to check out "The Road Warrior" and "Thunderdome" and realized they beat my story to the punch by TWO DECADES

Book Of Eli definitely had the right look, so they'd need the cinematographer from that. They'd also probably be better off doing an original story set in the universe as opposed to adapting one of the games.

That would be interesting, but it'd be a real hard move to pull off.. especially characterizing the Enclave without making them generic Hollywood villains, that are evil for the sake of being evil. :/

I agree with the others; Book of Eli basically hit the nail on the head combining Fallout with Mad Max. In my opinion, a Fallout movie would be redundant and runs the risk of giving the series a bad name. Fallout doesn't own the entire 'post apocalyptic' genre, so a Fallout movie can simply be titled something else and be just as epic. But then again, I have a huge pet peeve about remakes/sequels/adaptations/conversions that go off the the story or feel of the original, yet still hold the same name just to make money.

I'd watch it.

Even if it sucked hard. But then again, I'm a post-apocalyptic/Fallout nut.

It'd get major points from me if they did the first game and never gave the protagonist a name other than Vault Dweller.
