Honestly though I would like to see something akin to pets or something, like house cats. Think about mutated genius house cats... They even could be like the intelligent deathclaw. Imagine if you will a tribe of mutated, intelligent cats roaming the wastes. Killing everything along the way with their cuteness... and giant mutated teeth...

I'm almost certain they're already in Fallout 3 and NV. I remember a quest where you have to kill a bunch of them. Also there's some woman who wears a ant costume who's the queen of the ants, or something like that.

Personally? I don't really mind, as long as its big and scary. Maybe some mutated, deadly horses, and you can tame and ride some of them? They could look like shadowmere.

House Cats are all gone. Hunted into extinction for food. Either FO1 or 2. A character at a bar complains about how they miss there fuzzy friend from when she was a kid, who got eaten. Then they talk about how they were all hunted down for meat and are now gone.

Thats understandable I guess. (The cat lover in me is sad though) I'm just surprised that dogs made it then, because if I was going to hunt anything for food a dog has more meat then a cat.

How about going all-out Disney/Pokémon and go for mutated, sentient furniture? "Wow, guys, that Rad-Lamp over there is lookin' mighty ornery!"

On a more serious note, I'd like to see something like mutated moose (meese!) or deer. Not too keen on birds personally, 'cause my mind goes straight to Rakks, and I loathe Rakks.

A nod to Graham and Paul would be kinda fun though, with an intelligent raven named Russel, and seems it could fit nicely with the somewhat whacky humour, especially with something akin to the Wild Wasteland perk.

Marine creatures would be nice, but they'd need something to explain how you can go into the water without mutating yourself, a truckload of RadAway notwithstanding.

You forgot the cockroaches (radroaches), Jack. As well as horseshoe crabs (mirelurks), dogs, and supposedly frogs (lakelurks).

OT: Don't ask me why, because I don't know either, but I always wanted to see gigantic snails. They're not hostile and they don't do anything, but I think it'd just be funny to see a big ass snail the size of a big screen TV just wander around.
