If you enjoy Funimation's anime dubs, then I'm sure you're familiar with Vic Mignogna.
Kakorot! Kakorot! Kakorooootttt!!!

Broly for the win.
Fun fact about that: Vic refuses to EVER do the Broly voice at a convention again. He says it hurts his throat too much.

He's also retired the 'miniskirt line'. If you don't know...

Nolan North voiced Nathan Drake and about 10 other characters last year.

Brad Swaile was Amuro Ray and Light Yagami, he has a very distinct voice
He was also Quatre Raberba Winner in Gundam Wing, Adult Gohan in the Ocean Group dub of DBZ, and (of all things) Maxwell in Hamtaro.

This is kinda my area of expertise, especially voice actors who work for Funimation. The VA world is this tiny but convoluted web. (And no, I don't do VA work. I just wish like hell I did.)

Johnny Yong Bosch starred in Trigun as Vash, Bleach as Ichigo, Claus Valca in Last Exile, Kiba in Wolf's Rain, and Persona 4 as the MC/Toru Adachi.

Crispin Freeman starred as Alucard in Hellsing, but he also played Alex Rowe in Last Exile, Hideki in Chobits, Kyon from the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and Itachi Uchiha in Naruto.

Wendee Lee was Faye Valentine in Cowboy Bebop, as well as Azusa Fuyutsuki and Mrs. Sakurai in Great Teacher Onizuka, and Haruhi in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Vic Mignogna starred as Ed in Fullmetal Alchemist, the creepy lawyer in Nerima Daikon Brothers, Tamaki in Ouran High School Host Club, Takenaga in The Wallflower, and Death Scythe in Soul Eater.

Justin Cook starred as Yusuke in Yu Yu Hakusho. John Burgmeier was Kurama, Christopher Sabat was Kuwabara, and Laura Bailey was Keiko. Later on, all four teamed up again for Fruits Basket (Cook as Hatsuharu, Burgmeier as Shigure, Sabat as Ayame, and Bailey as Tohru). Sabat is also known as the voice of Vegeta in DBZ, Bailey currently stars in Soul Eater, and Cook's cousin Aaron Dismuke not only was Hiro in Fruits Basket, but starred as Al in Fullmetal Alchemist.

Luci Christian starred alongside Chris Patton in Full Metal Panic!, and joined him again in Nerima Daikon Brothers. Patton has most recently done work for The Wallflower, Welcome to the NHK, and Soul Eater.

Yuri Lowenthal is married to Tara Platt, and they team up often. Recently, Lowenthal starred in Persona 3 as the Main Character/Pharos/Ryoji, and in Persona 4 as Yousuke. You might also recognize Lowenthal and Platt from Naruto, as they play Sasuke and Temari respectively.

Melissa Fahn was Ed in Cowboy Bebop, as well as Gaz in Invader Zim. She's related to Jonathan Fahn, a.k.a. Jonathan Charles, the voice of Yusuke in the Yu Yu Hakusho movie (but not the anime) and Tom Fahn (a.k.a. Tom Charles, whose most recognizable role is Sho in Guyver). Tom is married to Dorothy Elias-Fahn, who, under the name Dorothy Melendrez, starred as Meryl Stryfe in Trigun.

Quinton Flynn might be recognizable as Axel from Kingdom Hearts 2, Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 2 and 4, and Reno in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. He's best friends with Jeff Nimoy, who is well-known for his performance as Nicolas D. Wolfwood in Trigun.

Phew.
Golly that's a lot. I'm a pretty big Brad Swaile fan, his sneers, arrogance, whines are top grade and because of him I watched Deathnote and it was amazing. He'll go down in history for his potato chip line, no one else would have panted like he did.

Check out GW, and listen to him as Zero System Quatre. With a VERY few difference, that was his precursor to the Light voice. I was impressed. :)

I'd love to meet Brad someday. I hear he's a real doll. As it stands, I've met Vic Mignogna, Chris Patton, Wendy Powell (a.k.a. Envy from FMA), Monica Rial, and Crispin Freeman.

When I watched Black Lagoon, I assumed Rock was just going to pull out a Notebook after the first 5 minutes. That's all I can think of without listing those VAs who were in everything, like Steven Blum.

Marcus Fenix and Bender: The same person? WHOOOAAA????!!

John DiMaggio, I can spot his voice from a mile away. I kind of wish that Steve Blum voiced Marcus Fenix, though.

All of my favorite Ninja'd voice actors:

Steve Blum-The best at what he does, bub;Spike Spiegel, Grunt, countless others.

Scott Menville-Robin from Teen Titans

Vic Mignogna-Edward Elric

Johnny Yong Bosch-Power Ranger/Kaneda

Richard Horvitz-Zim, Raz, Billy from Billy and Mandy.

All of these guys are radical.

I remember noticing that one of the Quarian leaders in Mass Effect 2 is voiced by the same person as Morrigan in Dragon Age. She has a rather distinctive accent.

Other then that, I rarely recognise voice actors just from how they sound.

Sometimes I hate it when you realize a character has the same voice as a character in a different piece of work, since it can really alter your perception of said character. The most recent example for me is when I quickly came to the painful realization that the scientist in Starcraft 2 has the same voice as Lloyd Irving from Tales of Symphonia. I can't even bother memorizing his name since he's just Lloyd to me. And I really don't think that voice works with that character. In ToS Lloyd is a moron that is constantly berated throughout the game for his lack of common sense and intelligence. Him being a very intelligent science type character just doesn't work for me. Every time he talks all I see is Lloyd masquerading as a scientist on my ship. And I don't like it one bit.
Have fun [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scott_Menville].

On topic, also Tales-related, I learned that Colette's Japanese voice actor (Nana Mizuki) played Fate from Nanoha (actually, the other way around). Considering that they're very different character types, it was an odd discovery.

Oh, and TV Tropes link [http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ptitlews9vjxau4x1j].

a handful of aliens from Ben 10
Speaking of Ben 10, my 5-year-old cousin was watching it when I suddenly realised that Ben's dad is Colonel Roy Campbell (i.e. Paul Eiding). It became an inside joke with my brother that at any moment Ben's dad would turn to the camera and say "You've been watching this show too long. Turn the TV off now!" or tell Ben to get the PSG-1, so he can hurry up and save Meryl.

Heh, in-jokes are never actually funny when related to other people...

Yeah, Steve Blum has been in damn near everything [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steven_Blum]

I also love Jennifer Hale [http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0354937/]. She's in a bunch of stuff.
That is a crazy long IMDB.
