This happened to me about 10 minutes ago in Bioshock. Just met my first "Big Daddy", had no idea what they were like in a real fight. (This is on hard difficulty)


"Okay, I have a full stock of armour piercing pistol rounds so I rekon that I can take him on, I mean, he must be pretty slow considering his size and armour, right?"

Said to myself two seconds before opening fire from 10 feet away.

Yeah, but once you get used to them, they're easy as frak, even on the hardest difficulty.
