Inspirational:
"Let us cross over the river, and rest under the shade of the trees."
~General Thomas Jonathan "Stonewall" Jackson

Just something my friend said before we did something extremely stupid:
"Increase the Speed to 55!"

Explanation, my friends and I jump from car roof to car roof (while they're moving, like driving down the street, and usually to someone's roof who doesnt know what we're doing) and see if we can land and stay on it. My friend in question (James), jumped, but missed his mark since he's used to doing it at 40 (the fastest I did it and succeeded was 43, which is the record at the moment). So yeah, he face planted straight into the paved road then rolled into the grass, leaving a streak of blood skin and guts behind him.

He's still alive. Still able to walk, breathe and use his organs onhis own (amazingly) and still likes to do it.

Here, I'll show you a trick...

I like the Breaker's and Pancho Villa's the best.
Breaker Morant said to his firing squad "Shoot straight you bastards, don't make a mess of it."

Pancho Villa had perhaps the best of all time, "Don't let it end like this. Tell them I said something."

Errol Flynn (1909-1959): "I've had a hell of a lot of fun and I've enjoyed every minute of it.

Ned Kelly (1854-1880): "I suppose it had to come to this. Such is life."

John Fitzgerald Kennedy (1917-1963): "If someone is going to kill me, they will kill me."

John Sedgwick (1813-1864): "Nonsense, they couldn't hit an elephant at this distance."

So, I'm guessing your friend is a slow learner then?

"I am slain!" Awesome line.

And two more of my favorites:
"I do not have to forgive my enemies. I have had them all shot."

"Don't let it end like this! Tell them I said something."

"Liberty, O what crimes are committed in your name!"
Madame Roland, before getting the guillotine by order of Robespierre.
