Fan Support May Revive Resident Evil 2

As someone who thinks the game has aged rather terribly, I and many others would benefit from a remake.

This is actually laughable. They have remade all of the original, Ad Nauseum, but they do not have plans to remake this one. It just defies reason. It's like Squenix and their constant remakes of the original Final Fantasy games, but then they completely unwilling to remake the ONE game most of the fans want remade.

Either just commit to remaking the franchises your fans want, or just concentrate on new games, but don't sporadically remake the franchises, leaving out sporadic games for no real reason other than just because.

My memory must be hazy, but I thought Ada Wong was a protagonist in RE2, not an antagonist.

No she saved Leon sure but she was not there to help stop the spread. She was only there to get a sample of the virus and give it to the highest bidder.

Considering I played the GC remake of the originally and loved every step of the way, I'm crossing my fingers for this one. They've proven they *can* do this kind of thing without cocking it up. The real question is, will they?

I just don't get what they mean by "fan support", if they are discussing the possibility of remaking of RE2 specifically that should already mean they are aware that people want it. Otherwise they would have considered remaking 3 or something along those lines.

i think i want it as well. thats at least one RE i enjoyed and i just cant get the the game run on my pc. just hope the remake will be also available for the pc as well.

I haven't played the remake of Resident Evil (yet) but I've heard only good things.

I loved the REMake, but this kind of seems too little too late.

In regards to dedicating almost all your graphical prowess on character designs, despite RE6's models looking fantastic, I actually wonder what they would look like if that was all the console would focus on............

Also: REmake2 or don't bother.
