I guess football fans (the proper one but that's for another thread). I love football but a lot of the fans are just idiots. It doesn't help that when I say I like football most people will imagine me as something like this:

Oh dude, that's disgusting!

Who in their right mind supports Newcastle?

Good God I don't support Newcastle it was just the first picture that came up for football fans, not much to my surprise really. Liverpool is the only team for me :D

I know, I feel sorry for the poor fat guy who is standing next to them.

Newcastle fans shouldn't be in the public sight.

Ok I think I may out-do everyone on this one. I'm only slightly ashamed to admit it.
I'm a (not so secret now) fan of Glee. I honestly don't know how I got into liking it, because I normally hate that kind of thing. But well it sucked me in and now I'm slightly hooked.

Don't judge me!

I judge you... but only for staying interested after the New York episode. Once they started not doing covers it all got dull for me. Plus the storylines hadn't been interesting to me in quite some time past that point, and I kept forgetting who was meant to be with who.
Did it recover after that episode?

Sometimes the things fans of Hockey do make me incredibly annoyed. Like the Vancouver riot. Your team lost. Deal with it.

Any sport in general, the fanbase can get that way. Though I haven't heard of many Polo riots.

...

That would be awesome.

When I went to E3 last year I was ashamed to be part of the video game community. There were probably some cool guys (and it was 90% guys) there, but it just seemed like all the dregs of the video game community were the most prominent. I guess there was a reason Arcades were dimly lit and most video gaming takes place online or in the privacy of your own home.

Call of Duty. Yes, it's simple, stupid, repetitive, marketed at the lowest common denomenator and published by a terrible company, but I love it. It just 'clicks' with me. Probably because it's almost all muscle memory so I can be good online while on 'auto-pilot'.

Though I'm not ashamed of it, I'm a huge fan of lesbians taking over the planet.

Probably any moe anime, particularly K-ON!

I mean, I like the show for more reasons then just "IT'S SO MOE~~!!", but most of the fans, particularly otakus in Japan, are just really disgusting.

In fact, any anime in general that has even a hint of "moe" is sorta given the same treatment, even something like Madoka Magica.

Well I'm a Boys Love fangirl. I'm not so much ashamed of it as I don't really mention it that often simply because I don't want to deal with the flack that a person can get for it.

Yes, I know it's unrealistic, I don't use BL to teach me anything about real, human gay men, I just want a romance that doesn't involve looking at boobs. Is that so much to ask for?

I enjoy the soap opera that is professional wrestling.

Now, I defy anyone who thinks that gaming communities online are "uncivilized" to go check out wrestling forums.

Being a Bioware fan. They are getting so much hate, but I still love their games. Yes, even ME3. Yes, even DA2. But that must mean I have no standards.

Also, being a furry. No, I do not want to fuck an animal. I just find anthros attractive sometimes. It's no different then, say, thinking Thane is hot.

I do not associate with any fan base. I have my own interests and if others share a similar interest that is simply a coincidence, not a need to join some sort of pseudo-cult.
