Well, the main reason this happens is because that they want all there friends to play on there console because they feel it is superior. But some people might choose another console because they think that consoles better and so the two forces fight. What they don't realize is that there not going to switch consoles because lets face it, there defending there own console and there going to feel like a sore loser switching over. Nobody cares which systems have better goodies or blu-ray or achievements and things like that because lets face it. We are all gamers here and we only bought our consoles to do two things: 1. Play games 2. Have fun playing games. People take there own different routes on life and I respect that because its what they find fun to do. And if there having fun then it doesn't matter which object, console or activity is more fun.
