Fancy codes

Hi, I'm just wondering what the fancy codes are on this site like Italics, Bold, Picture upload Ect. Because I've seen a lot of people using them on this site and I can't for the life of me find any posts detailing the specifics of how to do these, if there are posts about them already then could anybody drop me a link? Thanks for your time guys.

u = Underline
h1 = Heading 1

There's a lot more but I don't know many others.

you can also edit the width of pictures by putting "width=##" in the initial tag, where ## is how many pixels wide the image should be.
