STALKER: Clear Sky.

Gun modifications. New mutants, new levels. AI capable of making quests for itself, doing the quests. Factions dynamically trying to capture strategic locations from others. Awesome combat AI; even the developers couldn't take on four bandits alone. Player-made quests. Dynamic smoke physics. Dynamic water running down surfaces.

True, but does this stack up well against enemies who can use stealth intelligently, fights against aquatic enemies, a Magnum that fires remote detonated rounds, a Chaingun that can actually deploys shields, and unheard of size of co-op and multiplayer?

It does look pretty sweet. Anyone know If there will be a map editor like in previous Farcry games? (I hope there is but it doesn't seem likely)

Far Cry 2 will be a good game. If Ubisoft is meant to be believed which ITS NOT. Though Far Cry 2 does look great, what I am longing out for is a cross between Far Cry 2 and STALKER (with no mutants). S.T.A.L.K.E.R Clear Sky looks amazing but too similar to the original, which is a good thing. What I hate is that there are scary screaming monsters in it. I know they all look like feet and have amazingly cool attacks (like the Controllers) but they scare the shit out of me, I have to play STALKER sitting on a toilet.
Today though I brought myself to finish STALKER and after legging it from several zombies, fat zombie things, invisible monsters, ground walking crawling zombie things and Psychic controllers with the perception of a satellite (i hate controllers, a lot), I have realized that Far Cry 2 will have to accomplish a lot to be crowned best FPS of 2008.
After all this, I will be getting STALKER Clear Sky and with that, more toilet paper and Far Cry 2 if they don't bolox it up like Assassins Creed.
