Farcry Movie

I'm sure that many of you are aware that a movie was made, based on a game that many of you know and love. You are also probably aware that it was made by Uwe Boll. He has a general reputation for destroying things that we enjoy and doing no justice to them in any way.

I don't know if it's out yet in the states or Europe, but someone, somewhere has a public copy. It is from this copy, that a bootleg was created for a group of people who speak a language I don't know, and use writing that I could not place. I was on a bus, and the bus company decided that we needed to see this movie.

Do not see it.

This probably comes as no suprise to many here at the escapist. The acting was horrible, plot was thin, and they tried to do too much with what they had. Even if someone offers the movie to you for free, don't take it from them.

I guess this kinda turned out like a public service announcement. Don't see this movie, it's a form of commercial torture.

It's an Uwe Boll film. You'd have to pay me to see it....and throw in some booze and hookers. And then I'd be too busy drinking and messing with the hookers to bother with watching the Uwe Boll film.

Why are there a million threads about hate for Boll, yes he deserves it and this isn't meant as an insult in any way but seriously there have been a lot. Boll I think must be some kind of 'default insult' person these days because you can make a joke or two about the buy and everyone will laugh.

Ultimatley I don't care for Far Cry anyway so this doesn't matter much to me.

It's an "action" flick. It's bad to the point where I was laughing. There was a girl sitting next to me, who couldn't even tell you how to install the game, and she thought it was hilarious.

To his credit, Far Cry the game, over in Germany was heavily edited..That's all the credit he gets, it would stll be horrible. I have never seen it, and frankly I don't want to!

Got 30 minutes into it and at that point I was so bored I turned it off.
