*Eyetwitch*Somewhere Ray Bradbury is crying. Excuse me. *Leaves room* *muffled screams of rage against rape of source material are heard followed by the misinterpretation of the point of the book* *returns*

I'd probably save my cope of LOZ: aLttP. Not because its the "best game evar!!!" but instead because it means a lot to me.

ok, so you basically took 10 minutes to type, "If you could only play one game, which would it be,"? Well... ok...
Context dear boy, context. And there's a lot more to it than just "favourite game" :)

May I ask that before you speak of rape, that you read the introduction to the Farenheit 451 graphic novel by Mr. Bradbury himself.

Orange Box. 5 games mother fucker!!!

If they found that too I'd have no other choice. You think video games incourage violence hu? Well, we'll see about that. *pulls out chainsaw*

A world with out games...can you imagine?

*thinks of a world of happiness and butterflys and people dancing in the streets*

*shivers*
i was going to say the exact same thing the orange box hl2,portal and tf2 thats all i need to survive. I wouldnt go quietly either id let them into my house peacefully and then back stab them all with a butterfly nice of machete.
in soviet Russia sniper back stabs you
If they wiped out Valve, be damn sure they wiped out Steam too. TF2 would be useless without a net connection, and the others wouldn't work without steam. Sorry :(

Personally I'd grab Oblivion, and spend as much time as I had left frantically downloading all the mods I could get my hands on.
not if its the xbox version ;) ill just have to hid and xbox as well where to hide it. hmmmmmmmmm

You'll notice I didn't include my plan, that's mainly because I wanted to see yours without being influenced.

I'd quickly copy MAME and fill the rest of the disc with ROMS and a C compiler. Then I'd slip it next to my big black book of "C", grab all of the rest of my discs and bring them to the Games-Men; before applying to be a Games-Man myself.

Reasoning: A system is easier to destroy from within, and this music video should tell you exactly how many games I'm holding that I can bring back with me. [http://www.powerstrike.net/Tehkan/mamejump.html]

I would take them all out then destroy the HQ of the game men then kill
a robotic suited Atkinson then declare the games free.

Yes! It's about time a good ol' fashioned totalitarian regime gets installed. Think of how far we could progress with the entire population pulling in the same direction instead of petty squabbling amongst eachother for personal gain!

They can have all my games. The hobby has been going downhill steadily for years now anyway.

sometimes I wonder if the gaming community here is, in all actuality, really way too into gaming.

Everyone is only choosing one game. He said a DVD's worth. Meaning that, if a game is less than a DVD, we could fit substantially more.

I would have emulators with every single game from the N64, GBA, and SNES on it. That would maybe fill up a DVD. If I have more space, I'd throw an NES emulator in as well. Legality would obviously not be an issue in this case, since 1) the action of having games itself is illegal at this point, and 2) the companies will be shut down and thus, no one will be there to be hurt by emulation anyway. And this way I can have a few entire generations of great games.
