This thread made me think of this: http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1946405
(not that I would oppose several of those fashion types)

I think my friend looks *kinda* cute with those bug eye sunglasses, but she mostly just wears them in her hair, only puts them down outside (thankfully.) I don't usually pay attention to peoples fashion, I honestly don't care what they're wearing. I went on vacation last summer and my dad gave me a pair of bright yellow crocs to wear to the beach, they look absolutely ridiculous but weren't that bad to wear, especially in the sand/water. Also since I'm damn near blind without my glasses it was nice having something that actually stood out to see from the water :p

Facial piercings start to get to me, especially when there's a lot, Ugg boots look just horrid. Tattoos that aren't hidden under clothing. I like it every now and then, but not if i have to see it every time I look at you.

'Jack Wills' gilets seem to be worn by every other teenage girl nowadays. Not only do they look terrible, everyone wears one, so there's no escaping and sooner or later you find yourself drowned in a sea of colourful sleeveless jackets...

Rosaries, people wearing them as fashion accessories and not understanding the true meaning behind them, now i'm not Christian, not even religious, but I do find it a tad disrespectful.

'picture should go here, but I have no idea how to put a picture into a thread on here'

Girls wearing a belt Athena style... You know, when the belt is positioned right under their boobs..
First of all, why wear a belt on your shirt/blouse? Afraid it might fall up?
Second, the greek god Athena used the belt to make men fall in love with her or something like that.. I dont really think it works..
That kind of 'belt' is called an Empire Bust, and the idea is to make the illusion of your waist being higher. It's usually worn with a long blouse that hangs loosely past your crotch area, so to not break the illusion. It accentuates your chest and makes your legs seem longer. It also looks awesome on women who have a slightly thicker waistline.

Sure, i know what it does.. It still looks stunningly stupid imho..
And i still think that the idea is taken from Athena btw.. Not that it matters anyway...

I have a subfolder of my "stuff" folder dedicated to dweeby nerds wearing fedoras.

If your name isn't Dick Tracy, then chances are you look retarded wearing that hat.
That's not a fedora. I'm not sure what it is, aside from "that weird hat that people mistake for a fedora," but it's not a fedora. A bowler hat, maybe?

You'll notice that real fedoras have a larger brim, and don't look stupid on nearly everybody. Even Indiana Jones and Dick Tracy would look dumb in the hat you posted, whereas most guys can pull off a real fedora, assuming they're reasonably fit and wearing the right kind of clothing.

OT: I'm having a hard time thinking of a current fashion that annoys me. I would say people who wear their pants around their ankles, but that was on the way out several years back, and is pretty much gone at this point. Same thing with people who buy designer clothes and leave the tags on, to show off what brand they bought -- I haven't seen that since highschool. Heck, I'm not even sure what is considered fashionable right now; in the circles I run in, clothing is less about what other people are wearing, and more about what's comfortable and looks good on you.

Worst thing in fashion for me is belt loops on pants for women. I honestly have never known one other girl who wears a belt on a pair of denim jeans that wasn't just purely decorative. So no idea why designers keep adding loops to them when noone uses a belt it's mind boggling.
Uh, what? I wear a belt every day. Those loops are kind of important. The reason women don't usually wear belts seems to be that they don't care if their ass hangs out for everyone to see every time they bend over/sit down/do anything more than stand there looking "pretty." I prefer to keep my pants around waist, thanks.
This reminds me of a major complaint I have against women's jeans: the pockets. I usually can't even fit my hands in them, let alone my wallet, keys, and cell phone. Maybe I'm the only one actually looking for practicality in pants.

OT: I'm going to have to go with leggings, particularly without anything over them. No one looks good in them. Just stop. I've actually seen some designed to look like jeans, I guess made in an attempt to make it more acceptable for women to forget their pants when they go out.

Crocs

They are stupid.
I read an article about Crocs in the newspaper a while ago (yes I was bored) and it mentioned they were waterproof.

Now I don't want to split hairs, but generally speaking something covered in holes isn't waterproof.

Tapout shirts/ shirts advertising their love of things they don't even know about/ random band shirts
You seriously assume that people wearing band shirts/with other meaning, have no idea what they're about? I could care less about what people wear but I can't stand people that think they know more about others just based on what their wearing.

"Hey man you listen to Nine Inch Nails?"

"Nah I just got this at their concert because I was naked at the time."

I didn't mean to imply that, but I see how I could be misconstrued. I don't mean everyone, I just mean some people, less than 3% of the total population or so.

I'm sorry if I offended you. I probably could have worded that better.

They just look silly okay. Especially those knit ones that so many chicks wear.
When you said berets I thought of this

and I thought "No way, berets are awesome", but then I kept reading and saw that you were talking about the vanilla condom fashion

Well yeah, that example is a terrible hat. I always see these being worn with t-shirts and casual clothes, and it just seems like such an arbitrary and silly-looking way for bored college kids to stand out. It's just stupidly jarring in the context of the rest of the wearer's outfit.

Thongs on fat people.
This x10000000. And why are they always on display? Why do hot girls never have theirs on display? I ask this as a girl myself.

Also, i fucking hate uggs, and girls who wear things just because they're fashionable, completely ignoring their body type.

Uggs. I hate them so much, and I don't understand why anyone would want them. In my University, I swear 90% of the girls are wearing Uggs right now since it's winter. They look stupid, they're bad for your feet, and I can't think of a better way to be completely unoriginal. It pains me when a girl is wearing a nice outfit, but had Uggs on. If I was single and I saw a girl wearing Uggs, I wouldn't even consider her.

Then there's the new craze of Lulu Lemon stuff. The headband that stretches your hair back and makes you look like an alien, and the tight pants that show off your jiggly fat rolls to everyone. And I really doubt that even half of the girls that wear this stuff actually do yoga, especially the fat ones.

Oh, can't afford Lulu Lemon? Then just wear tights as pants! Because nothing says classy like showing your ass off to everyone.

Sweat pants suck, too, on both girls and guys. They belong at home or on a treadmill.

And guys that wear girls clothes: why? Not the jeans, I don't even care about skinny jeans. But tops. Why oh why do you have to wear a girl's shirt..?

Also, any dorky guy wearing a fedora or trilby or other hat with a brim. I'm sorry, but that hat alone won't improve anything.

How are you so sure these weird accessories aren't what first come into mind? To them it's everyday clothing but to us it's trashy stupidity.

Fashion is subjective. Fact!
I literally cannot believe that anybody would get up in the morning and think "Damnit I'm late for (something specific) well better put on my ridiculously tight skinny jeans which take five minute to put on each leg, put on my non-prescription glasses, get my bag put my Chihuahua in it, Get my Heelies on and then leave" no i believe the thought process would go along the lines of "PUT ON ANYTHING I CAN FIND"
Edit: Besides it's what YOU hate I'm not trying to impose my view upon others by running down streets yelling "You are a massive douche" at people who wear things I hate, I'm simply saying that I believe that the aforementioned clothing articles in MY opinion are stupid and if people who do wear these things are on this forum well then... tough.
Then we've come to an understanding, I just hope that people don't assume/judge people by a glance. Emphasis on the word assume.
