I've decided to go on a Fast & Furious Binge, but I'm unsure at what point I should watch Tokyo Drift.
It's either after 2 Fast 2 Furious or save it until last, as it chronologically takes place last out of the films(The upcoming F&F7 being the first to take place after).

So, what I'm asking is, what is the best place to watch Tokyo Drift to get the best out of the series.

Don't.

No really, don't. It's meaningless and quite frankly the worst of the lot. In all honesty the first two are rather forgettable as well, but at least they aren't as terribad as 3.

I was recently on holiday in Belgium and my cousins got to pick the evenings movies for the whole week. We watched Fast & Furious every night in the following order - 4,5,3,2,1. I do not suggest this order.

Watch them in the order of release, they were made in that order and made to be understood in that order. Tokyo Drift isn't good, but then none of them are particularly. They're good if you fancy watching a movie and not taking it very seriously. Packed with mindless action and funny in a way they didn't intend to be.

1,2,4,5,6 and watch 3 during the end credits of 6 before the post-credits scene although 3 is kinda irrelevant.

Watch them in the preferred Star Wars order:

4,5,1,2,3,6

Because then you can at least pretend you are watching something decent!

Alternatively just watch the ones with Vin Diesel in, because he is a legend!

Watch them in release order. That's the way most people will have experienced them.

(Alternatively, if you have to watch them at least somewhat chronologically, watch Tokyo Drift after Fast Five -- that way, the stinger in Furious Six will still matter, as opposed to seeing Tokyo Drift after at which point you'll be like "what?")

I read the other day that he did his 1 minute cameo for free at the end of 3 to get the rights back from Universal for Riddick. People have mixed opinions about him but that's a great bit of business!
