all right this has been happening consistently for a couple of days, i keep getting annoying messages like,

Fatal error: Database Error: Connection Failed in /sixpack/web/global/classes/class.db.mysql.inc on line 74

what is this? is everyone getting this?

I had that too about 5-10 minutes ago - I suspect the servers powering the Escapist are getting overloaded.

No. I had it as well. Escapist employee's probably spent more money on booze for Yahtzee than on the servers this week.

It'll be a server problem, I thought it was my internet connection because my campus had a power cut the other day, but if others are getting it too then it must just be the servers playing up.

Oh.

That makes more sense than a server crash. As far as I knew, the server hub was temperature controlled and filled with fluffy chocolate bunnies.

I only got the error once, so.. I dunno.
