I'm not against Fatal Frame 4 being localized, but it needs more than just a localization. It needs a control revamp so that we aren't fighting with a wii-mote to aim a camera. Otherwise it really wasn't that bad of a game.Trishbot said:Yeah... how 'bout we get Fatal Frame 4 localized first, eh Nintendo?
Since Beyonetta 2. So there!RealRT said:Since when is being exclusive to Wii U a good thing?
This is the same franchise, yes. Fatal Frame was called Project Zero in some countries.Xsjadoblayde said:*cough* Project zero *cough*

I'm looking forward to this, I don't usually play survival horror, but this looks interesting! Plus more games to play on my Wii U is always good!
Also, the WiiU has the potential to offer unique gameplay experiences that are not possible with the other consoles and won?t be possible if all the system gets is ports. So far, very few games on the system have fully embraced this uniqueness but the ones that have are incredibly compelling.
Doesn't answer my question in the slightest.V4Viewtiful said:Since Beyonetta 2. So there!RealRT said:Since when is being exclusive to Wii U a good thing?
I didn't have to, it doesn't make it a bad thing either.RealRT said:Doesn't answer my question in the slightest.V4Viewtiful said:Since Beyonetta 2. So there!RealRT said:Since when is being exclusive to Wii U a good thing?
You should want ALL of the companies to be competitive. I don?t much care for the Xbox lineup but that doesn?t mean I want the system to fail, that would be bad for all of the consoles. With no direct competition there would be little reason for Sony to try and produce better games or better user experiences.RealRT said:Excuse me for going to care more about my wallet than about Nintendo's position in competition.novem said:Exclusives might be bad for your wallet but they are very good for the industry; they drive competition and encourage innovation.RealRT said:Newsflash: games can be released on multiple platforms and people who don't own a Wii U not being able to play it is NOT a good thing... then again, Wii U and multiplats are like two parallel lines.New Frontiersman said:Since people who have owned Wii U's have wanted to play games on them.RealRT said:Since when is being exclusive to Wii U a good thing?

People say PS4 and XBone are underpowered to carry on an entire generation, what does this say about Wii U then? And uniqueness is good and all, but necessity is mother of all inventions. All the good ones anyway.
When Nintendo is the only console creator willing to pony up the cash to make some games a reality. People like to forget that if it wasn't for Nintendo, Bayonetta 2 would never get made.RealRT said:Since when is being exclusive to Wii U a good thing?
And what difference does that make if I won't be able to play it either way?Soviet Heavy said:When Nintendo is the only console creator willing to pony up the cash to make some games a reality. I may WANT all the companies to be competitive, but that doesn't mean I'm going to be happy because some games I would like to play are on platforms that I wouldn't touch with a ten feet pole. Besides, I'm not in the mood to care about the industry since the industry clearly doesn't care about me, but that's another topic for another time.novem said:You should want ALL of the companies to be competitive. You can play the underpowered card and you wouldn?t be wrong, but that has rarely prevented a system from doing well. Your own quote works well here, necessity is the mother of all invention, so let?s see what can be made when a company throws its all behind gameplay and innovation instead of concentrating on graphics.
The third game is on the PS2, and it's quite good if you ask me. Number 4 was exclusive to the Nintendo Wii, had some bad camera controls but was overall fun. Problem is that the fourth game was never localized to the United States and as a result only PAL and Japanese gamers can play it unless you break your Wii's region lock because Nintendo still thinks region locks are a good idea...Sniper Team 4 said:Wait...there are five of these games? I thought it only went up to II. Did I miss 3 and 4? And if so, are they on the PS3 by any chance? I always wanted to give these games a try, but I can never find them.
I actually broke out my old PS2 and bought a copy of Fatal Frame 3 about a year ago. It's fairly good, just not as good as the first two due to how the story worked. There is a point where if the situation "makes too much sense" in the horror game, it stops being scary and simply becomes tense. That's the kind of experience I ended up having playing the third installment. The first two didn't really "make sense" until about three quarters of the way through, at which point things really started hitting the fan.Neronium said:The third game is on the PS2, and it's quite good if you ask me. Edit: Seems Fatal Frame 3 was released on the North American PSN last October, so you can get the third game there. It's called The Tormented.
