I've always liked Raichu and Scyther. Scyther for being awesome, Raichu because it was my ultimate death machine. Like highest in my group was a 39 Raichu and I beat the elite 4 type death machine.

I'd have to say 2nd generation was pretty good too. 3rd gen was ok and I haven't tried 4th gen. Since I still liked 2nd gen a lot (a good reason probably because it included the old one along with adding all the new stuff the first gen didn't have) so I'm considering getting one of the new remakes of G/S since I lost my 3rd gen game too.

But fav 1st gen? Mankee into Primeape. They wrecked Brock at the first Gym and never stopped owning for me.

1st generation is okay, 2nd is AWESOME, 3rd is meh with a few gems to be found, but 4th sucks huge balls.

OP: Gengar, Gyrados, Nidoking, Snorlax, Venomoth, Scyther, and Arcanine. All awesome.

Then I did nothing but one hit KO attacks until my opponent started crying. Good times.

Aaaah I donno, I loved them all! Especially the little cutesy cat/rodent things, like Pikachu and Mew. The starter Pokemon were fun though too. And the three legendary birds... and Mewtwo was just awesome... But I love Magikarp because he's so utterly useless, then utterly unstoppable once he evolves...

Is it sad that I can still remember the name of all 151 first gen. Pokemon? Yes? Well, I'll crawl back into my pathetic little hovel in a moment. ^_^

I'd have to say that Ditto was my favourite. It's just awesome. A blob of pink goo that had the ability to morph into any Pokemon. ANY Pokemon.

And it had a face that looks like someone scribbled it on with a Sharpie. Awesome.
