Eric B. & Rakim - "Paid in Full"
EPMD - "Strictly Business"

I love every single track on both of these albums.

Mine is the devil and god are ragging inside me, by the band, brand new
Good choice my friend, although I actually like Daisy a little bit more than The Devil and God.

My current favorite is House of Heroes' "Suburba". Because it's pretty much amazing.

Morningrise - Opeth
Showbiz - Muse
Breeding Death - Bloodbath
Dark Side of the Moon - Pink Floyd

Showbiz was a fantastic album.

OT: Absolution by Muse is probably my favorite album at the moment, though it seems to change throughout Origin of Symmetry and Showbiz, also by Muse.
I also really like Appeal to Reason by Rise Against, and Billy Talent III by Billy Talent.
There's more, but those are definitely up there.

Genesis - The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway.

Surreality and social commentary with lyrics that had to have been put together on some hallucinogen-induced plateau of strangeness.

Favorite album, I can't say for sure, I listen to a very wide range of music, so in a way there would be favorites for different categories. One thing I'm pretty sure though, Iron Maiden's "Fear of the dark" when you are driving alone more or less randomly in the night is really enjoyable. Dance of death is pretty good also, though Powerslave does have some songs that feels better, depends on the mood etc. And I don't think I really should try to make a list of the different genres I listen to best of. Hey, hello there, having a good time? I hope so.

My iTunes says it's a pretty close tie between 21st Century Breakdown by Green Day and Underclass Hero by Sum 41.

I'd say my favourite is 21st Century Breakdown. Every song on that album is worth being a single, like American Idiot.

Out of the many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, many, albums I know and love I gotta go with 2112 by Rush just because of how much every song is all round epic including not just epic guitar solos but awesome drum and bass fills.

@savageoblivion - You have epic taste in metal.

Glorious Burden is great but I'd go with their self titled Iced Earth album or Overture of the Wicked.

Also Manowar's "The Axeman" is an awesome song... Played it all the time playing Brutal Legend.

Having said that I'm not all in it for metal... I do enjoy the odd Beatles or Smashing Pumpkins song... That doesn't make me weird... That I know good music when I hear it.

Enter the Wu-Tang(36 Chambers)

Honestly this is realy good, it's funny and smart unlike most rap, the use of sound bites from old Kung-Fu movies to give atmosphere to the album is just genius. It realy feels like you're hanging out with some friends in the hood watching martial arts movies and talking trash.
