Favorites: James Randi, Penn Jillette, Richard Dawkins, TED Director... pretty much any well spoken scientific skeptic. Oh, and an honorable mention to everyone that uses YouTube for actually helpful things, such as making tutorials for iPhone programming and similar.

Least liked: theists trying to upstage atheists with self-righteous "HAH! You can't answer that now can you!!!" vids; homeopathy advocates who just won't realize their 200 year old delusions are junk science; free energy nuts who thinks they can break the laws of physics and then expects everyone to take their crappy YouTube vid as evidence; everyone that thinks the aforementioned vids are evidence that laws of physics can be broken; conspiracy theorists who thinks a grainy YouTube vid is proof of George Bush being responsible for everything from 9/11 to their cat getting an anal rash; anti-globalists and most of the other activists out there going "ZOMG!!!! DO AS I SAY OR THE WORLD IS FAIL!!!!", like Greenpeace, their fanbois and the likes.

i can't quite understand how you could hate a youtube personality...
if someones videos annoy you, and you haven't the sense to stop watching them, you don't deserve emotions. if it is the comments ignore/troll/thumb down...

that said if i ever met the person who was on the "how stuff works" video, i'd hit her with a non-biodegradeable brick.

Im not too sure who my favorite would be. But as far as my least favorite would have to be Pruane2Forever. Just try and watch one of his game reviews or watever videos and not feel the need to some how punch him in the face thru your computer screen or smash your speakers. I know i could barly fight off the urges the first time I came across one of his videos.

He has by far THE most annoying voice I have ever heard on youtube.

I recognize very few of the identities mentioned thus far. Considering all the Fred-hate spewed already, maybe it's a good thing.

Highly rated:
TeamFourStar (DBZ Abridged is hilarious and awesome)
Konataproduction (NGE Abridged makes me laugh quite a bit)
UltraJMan (his Let's Play of I Wanna Be the Guy is the stuff of legends. Impossible, spike-laden fuck-filled mind-wrenching legends.)

And a lesson to some others: Dan Green (LittleKuriboh) is the only person who can get away with one-person Abridged Series.

I also get a kick out of most of the literal music videos I've seen.
