The spirit of this thread is to list your favorite Bond film along with another Bond film that strikes you as the most "fun".
Favorite: GoldenEye.
GoldenEye is, for me, a masterpiece. Rich in subtext, exquisitely scored, and with outstanding performances from all the leads. We are given a glimpse into the hypocrisy and lies that underpin James Bond's world. Bond is a lapdog of the British government, but one that isn't truly loyal to anything or anyone. The film effectively uses Russia and the Cold War to illustrate how "governments change, the lies stay the same."
Fun: Die Another Day.
DAD is a goofy film. But it has the magnificent Toby Stephens, who uplifts the film at every opportunity with priceless quips. "PARACHUTES FOR THE BOTH OF US!" The film is filled with loving homage to the Bond series, and Brosnan embodies a sense of grace throughout. John Cleese is wonderful in his last appearance in the series.
